To answer my own question, he scored 12 points in 14 minutes. This guy CAN do 30 points a game if he starts. And on that three pointer he had some touch. He looked like it was a set shot, and he just stroked it right in.

Harney needs to be in the game. As soon as he came in they started playing better. Quick bucket and a rebound. Nitro has to sit, his game is just not there.

I have watched every Giants game since they lifted the NFL blackout, which is what, 30 years or more? I can tell you this: Chase is not the best athlete. He is not that fast. But he plays his ass off every minute of every game. If you can teach that, he should coach at Akron when he is done playing (and hopefully after his second Super Bowl ring).

As I see it, the coach is about winning, not punishing. We are in conference play, and you don't use "playing time" as an incentive to be good. If you are "bad", you get suspended, we know that. If a player is causing dissent, he coach has to deal with that. But when we are in a conference game, the task is to win. Once again, I go back to what I said in the past: The biggest problem is figuring out who to play. Walsh is a major-major player. He can handle the ball, shoot 3 pointers, drive the basket. He is solid. Tree is a monster under the boards. Gilliam knows how to score, something we have lacked at times in the past. Q is awesome, not the worlds best point guard, but a super shooter and defender. Harney is the future for sure. If he develops, he has the size, athletics, and shot to get to the NBA, I kid you not. Remember, for BB purposes, he is a freshman. Now the problem is, AA and Zeke are going to be in there for as long as they stay out of foul trouble, that leaves three more guys on the court. But I just mentioned FIVE guys who can do great things for us, PLUS Nitro and Nik. Yikes, SEVEN PLAYERS FOR THREE SLOTS. Now I know I am a pessimist, so in that spirit, I think as time goes on the seniors need to get less playing time and the frosh more. Because the seniors (Nitro and Nik) won't be here next year. We need to assure our dominance for the next three years, and that means the other guys MUST play. We have played a few "major" teams this year. Does anyone think that there is a program that would not jump at the chance to grab Harney or Tree? Are you kidding? They ARE going to be big stars as juniors and seniors. I want it to be at Akron.

I have been saying for quite a while that the biggest issue KD faces is who to play. How many teams would have someone like Tree or Harney sitting on the bench? Either of them would make a run at MAC rookie of the year at a school with less depth and more playing time. When Harney gets to play an entire game, expect to see 30+ points. He has the potential to be a scoring machine.

Blackburn was available until week 5. He was waived by the Giants and brought back due to injuries. No other team offered him a job. Now he is the starting MLB on a playoff team that could go all the way. The football gods smile in strange ways.

If we owe them any money we should not pay them. Let them sue us.

I did note that Zeke was pulled out of the paint to cover on defense, which probably put him out of position for rebounds. KD uses him for more than sitting under the basket waiting for the bounds.

Chase was excellent today. He has been the key to the Giants comeback. Amazing, they cut him and now he is the starting MLB.

Having a good coach is nice. Everyone needs to remember we need to put good players on the field.

I really like KD, but I have to question his judgement. Haney has the hot hand, he should be in the game. This kid could do 30 points a game if he gets the minutes.

He should take a shot at the draft this year. He already has his degree and what if he gets hurt playing out that last year? If he can get drafted now, he should go for it.
