The Uof A will donate extra blood each year after the Can't game. It will be scraped off of the Can't sideline, but blood is blood. They will use this blood for people that are already mentally inept...

Lighting will only be on the west side of the stadium. On the east side, they will be installing a state of the art system of mirrors to provide light from that side. These mirrors also will be connected to rechargeable batteries that will power the scoreboard.Liar, I heard they were building a nuclear power plant nest to the stadium, and the glow would illuminate the entire area.

Maybe the new slogan should include something about the stairs.Stairways To Heaven...

Awesome, I love that they have the picture from the perspective of the rendering.The weird thing is, the sideline turf depending on the side (facing north or facing south) one side is greener than the other.You have to remember that side is where the visiting team will be. They are getting ready for Can't and started taking leaks there on a daily basis. :blink:

The UA website has two vivid pictures, dated June 24, of the west tower and east stands. Each offers a nice perspective from the corners of the north end zone.Those are over 2 weeks old now. We need more close ups..

I am sooo jealous of you guys that can drive or walk by and see this thing anytime you want. Since I am now out of state I only get to see what the web cams show. They were great at first, but now very little seems to change. I wish some of you lucky people would put some pics up for us outsiders to see.

I would like to see more pictures too. The stadium cams don't show much new anymore...

The last thing they'll do is be up front about it. I hope Penn State prepares with the expectation of the same old stack and sees something entirely different.But quite honestly, I expect that the stack will remain the basic defensive set. Why? Because JD seems to believe in it, even if we all think he's out of his mind. That said, with the extra size and depth at DL, I bet we see a few more wrinkles on a situational and/or game-by-game basis than we have in past seasons.But heck, as a fan all I wanna see them do is stop somebody. I don't care much how they line up or what they call the defense.GO ZIPS! If they still run the stack, I may have to kill myself.

I can't be too thrilled about a kid with those 2 offers. Unless we are having an academic challenge team we need to recruit higher level athletes.I guess we should drop the student in student athlete. We've had athletes that were smart and able to contribute within the team concept. I remember a great play by one such football player that saved a big win for the Zips at BG at the goal line. I'm not suggesting this was his only contribution but may have been his biggest. Awesome play! He wasn't the most gifted athlete but stepped up and contributed. Anyone know who this was???? Smart and athletic aren't mutually exclusive.No, we shouldn't drop the student from Student athlete, but we should also be D-3 if these are the types of guys we are excited at signing.Can you imagine a BCS conference school being excited over this? I want to play in bowl games ever year, not win the GPA cup. If that happens along with it great.it is possible our scouts saw something in him few others did. Naybe he's a diamond in the rough..Maybe JD is more worried about the team GPA.

2 straight posts in which I agree with everything said. Not only do we need to have a good record and hopefully make a bowl game, but we have to beat Indiana. They are a very beatable B10 team and it will do wonders for the program.

Correct. I SHOULD have said, can you imagine a front FOUR of Sewell, Bain, Henderson and Tonga! The Purple People Eaters, Steel Curtain, and Fearsome Foursome might have a little company First off Henderson and Tonga will be true freshman. They will not come in right away and dominate. So they may redshirt.Next year I will expect more from them. Bain hasn't played in 2 years. We don't know what to expect their.Don't forget Harvey, Rash, Hazime, Davis and Marcoux. These guys were all Freshman last year. They all have a year under their belt now and should be much better. If all of these guys stay healthy and stay elegible, I expect to see a dominating line in 2010 and beyond.

I believe that Henderson was the only real question mark in the class, and now that he's made it and is taking classes I would be surprised to see more than one or two recruits not show up.Like I said, getting better.

As usual with JD recruiting classes, I am looking forward to seeing the official roster to see how many of the recruits are actually on the team. I must admit, he has gotten better, but still makes me nervous.
