I hate going to stores that sell college merchandise and not finding Akron stuff, but I do find other conference members stuff. Why not us, the other teams that the do sell are not better than us in anyway. We have a name " ZIPS" that sparks intrest like the age old question what is a zip. Just the other day I saw 2 leather coats, one was a Miami of Ohio and the other was Marshall. They looked pretty sweet too I might add. genuine leather not no pleather snit!! Anyway I was thinking I would buy an AU jacket like that...I tried to find a link to the coat I saw this is close My thing is why don't we have more great merchandise? I own an Akron hat that I sport to clubs and bars and I get compliments on it all the time. And half of them don't even know what college it is. I love this hat!! I just wish we got more publicity!!! P.S. I think I am gonna buy these too......

Man, at first I was totally against this Wed. at one o'clock game. Me personally, being a former player I prefer the Can't game being at the begining of the year for a couple of reasons. You are always hyped for the first game, but with it being a rival game you will be even more amped. Nicer weather brings a larger crowd. Winning an opening rival game brings people to more games. Personally I think this has the potential to be more bad than good. With it being at the end of the season if things don't go the way "we" expect. We could be out of the MAC race and be on national television with an empty stadium. But I will keep my fingers crossed for the contrary.

I think things look good, we have a top rated recruiting class, some great players coming back. I expect big things this season!! Does anyone have the 2005 schedule? Please post it if you can. Go zips!!

Man I don't care where the brotha goes I am gonna support him, Me personally I would like to see him go to the Browns and make them a better team and bring more positive attention to the zips!!!
