  1. I don't want to think too much about this issue but I was looking at ESPN's website. Here is a breakdown on their bubble teams:Winners:Michigan, Florida State, Xavier, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma State, Akron, and Georgia.Losers:Clemson, Alabama, Syracuse, Air Force, UMass, and WVU.

  2. I added a couple of votes for the Zips. We are now at 18%(17.9 actually) and the vote has 13 teams ahead of us right now. I am glad to see some of the mid-major teams doing ok in the vote compared to the BCS schools.

  3. Congrats to Romeo Travis! This is a well deserved and outstanding honor. Romeo was a great player for the Zips and will someday enjoy seeing his jersey hung from the rafter along with the NCAA tournament banner that is forthcoming from this year.

  4. It would be very hard to Keith to win COY honors when they were picked to win the conference, but he has not won the honor yet and he brought a .500 team to consecutive 20+ win seasons and has the Zips as a power at home. I would probably vote for Joplin as well, but Keith has done an amazing job in his three years. I think all three years he could have won the award and the pick would be warrented. Anyways, I agree with MAC report online. I think those picks make sense.

  5. Before I start rooting for Ohio to beat Can't, lets look at the big picture. The first thing the Zips need is a first round bye at the Q. If Can't wins today, it almost assures the Zips a bye in the first round. If Ohio wins, the Zips will have a two game lead over Ohio which is not completely safe. As it stands, I think I would rather the Zips and Can't both go undefeated until our match-up. I would like to win the East by beating them at their place.

  6. In a way, I was rooting for OU to win this one. I wanted their RPI to be as high as possible when we play. I don't think they can beat us at the JAR and I still believe our RPI will matter at the end of the season. I might be losing faith about an at-large bid, but a conference championship would mean we need to be seeded.

  7. The O/U is 110? I got to believe the total is going to be alot higher.I think this game will define the end of the season for the Zips. Get by Toledo and we will go on to the number 1 seed for the tournament, lose to Toledo and then a fight to the end of the year with the rest of the MAC EAST.Akron 77 Toledo 72

  8. I honestly havent even marked this game down as a big game. Winning at Toledo and then at CANT should be our highlights for the remainder of this season
I was thinking the same thing. OU is good at spending time on message boards and running smack, but is this really that big of a challenge. We are playing Toledo, the leading team from the West- bigger game. We also have Can't coming up-the second ranked team in the East-bigger game. Why are people getting so jacked up about OU? They are the one team that has blemished our record, but they are just another game. Toledo and Can't are big games. OU is just a W along the way to the number one seed.
