  1. 4 INT's and a fumble for a touchdown. Was it raining most of the game? The Cards are having some roasted Roo tonight. Ball v. CMU for the West should be a good race.
  2. Did he get carted off the field?
  3. you're welcome. pretty sloppy 1st half. don't know if it's raining on the field but a lot of dropped passes. if only the d-line was healthy
  4. I'm watching livestats at http://www.gozips.com/liveStats/newLiveSta...E_STAT_ID=92286
  5. Whew. Glad to be tied at 10 the way it's been going...
  6. 2-8 DAVIS, Nate pass intercepted by GRAHAM, Miguel at the AKRON0, GRAHAM, Miguel return 0 yards to the AKRON0, touchback.
  7. That gives me an idea for the RB after this season. Maybe stock some bass in there, charge some Portage Co. rednecks entrance to do a little fishin...
  8. Yeah, get the L out of the way now so we don't incur it in the tournament home opener again...I'm still bummed from that
  9. That's a more advanced algebra topic not covered in Modern Univ. Mathematics. You won't find it in Excel yet either but it does come in handy for achieving the desired result
  10. BSU is favored by 7 with an over/under of 58. Therefore,Let x = Zips score and let y = Ball score.So x = y - 7 and x + y = 58.Substituting x we get y - 7 + y = 582y - 7 = 582y = 65y = 65/2 = 32.5 and x = 32.5-7 = 25.5Then applying the homer upset reversal function, we getx = Zips score = 32.5 andy = Ball score = 25.5Therefore...Zips Win !!
  11. Highly ranked soccer, new football stadium, new fieldhouse already used for Big East track finals, solid hoops & getting better...the feathers in our cap are accumulating. Also ready-to-go regional rivalries w/Pitt, Cinci, WVU. Mostly need to work on academic reputation, basketball arena and lacrosse program.
  12. Some Oranges on the side might be good
  13. "Ryan Bain is left off this week's depth chart, so you probably won't see him Saturday."
  14. Syracuse has been on the list since the preseason. Of course, they did jump from #9 to #3 after losing to us
  15. I can't believe we only won by 14 against SYRACUSE. I mean how far have we fallen if we can only win by 2 touchdowns at SYRACUSE of the Big East!
  16. Syracuse is bad but we could have lost to them if we hadn't had the solid play at QB and WR. It was a good win. A win over BSU at home is doable and nobody else on the schedule is looking invincible. We have a great opportunity to get back to a bowl game as long as our defense keeps improving and gets healthy. Hopefully the team isn't too high after this win and is hungry for another one this Saturday.
  17. Read this first..click on Syracuse on the right side.Hmmm...thought I was gonna get some personalized advice. You should take a few minutes and click on the link. You couldn't ask for more helpful and complete football travel info and it would be a good idea to bookmark it for future reference. In fact, maybe we could start a pinned thread with links to away-game info resources. Thanks, TexanMark

  19. Which MAC school would Dave end up at.......nah, it's much too early to start speculating....
  20. Jabari might remain on the practice roster or could bolt to the CFL...I believe it's Edmonton that has rights to him.

  22. "Akron beats Notre Dame", I love the sound of that. It would be really sweet to knock off IU at their place...they kind of have our number and we need to get our number back.Go Zips Soccer !!
  23. Lots of good bulletin board material here..."Thrills and goose bumps might be scarce, though. This one could get ugly.""The Badgers follow up with a Sept. 6 home game against Marshall out of Conference USA. The Thundering Herd was 3-9 last year. Then it gets serious. Wisconsin travels to Fresno State on Sept. 13. The Badgers then go to Michigan and round out the first half of their schedule at home against Ohio State and Penn State."Apparently their first 2 games are not to be taken seriously. Oh well, if we can stay within 4 touchdowns of the Badgers we'll notch the moral victory.
  24. Put a good QB on the field, JD. It's up to you, bud.
  25. State mandated open enrollment? The US News site lists our fall 07 acceptance rate at 82% which is fairly high but apparently not everyone is accepted at UA. Plus, that's only for the General College ... the degree granting colleges have their own acceptance criteria. Some of the Tier 4 schools have acceptance rates in the 50's. A big part of the rankings is input from people in academia nationwide on how they perceive our reputation so that's what has to be improved to move up from T4.
