Not to be picky but the guy didn't say that you hadn't been legitimately tailgating. He said you hadn't done any authentic collegiate tailgating. Please consult your Official Collegiate Tailgating Manual for the distinction.I'm pretty sure I've been legitimately tailgating for the past 5 years, so I don't know what you guys are all getting at....something tells me that tailgaiting > 'Official Collegiate Tailgaiting'

It's true. There was nothing but excitement surrounding him as a draft pick and rookie. His 2007 numbers were great, though he did have drops that year too, he made the pro bowl.2008 saw some of the most inopportune drops put together by one player. No one likes criticism, but the way Braylon is seems to be in denial about his own issues is not a good sign.Edward's excuse for not liking cleveland because he's ax ex-wolverine is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard. The only reason why everyone hates him right now is because he couldn't catch the dang ball when it was thrown to him RIGHT IN THE NUMBERS. Nobody in cleveland really cares that much that he was a Wolverine at UM. Sure, they'll make mention of it, but if he'd actually play like he's being paid to, then people wouldn't be calling him out. -
Well, now you're giving the marketing team ideas. They don't like those. They could have the celebration and try to promote ticket sales for next season. -
STIMULUS!Hey Barrack! Think of the jobs it would create!Maybe LeBron would agree to do a ground-breaking photo-op with Barrack... I'm sure the President would love the opportunity to be seen with King James

I concede I could easily be very wrong.I just hope that if they are going to make the investment, then they are sure to make it a place that makes the experience for the fan, including ample parking in the vicinity.

I don't like the idea of building down town. I understand the fact you don't make as much off of student attendance, and I understand that in order to attract a more mature audience someplace like the JAR is not optimal, but I just don't see the huge investment of building an arena downtown paying off.The only way to make it work (not even counting the fact that you will need to continue and increase our success on the court) is if you create a premium experience. This means, better access, better convenience, and better amenities. In other words, it would be a huge mistake to invest all those millions of dollars on an arena when parking is limited, and invariably the project will end up taking economic liberties with comfort. The bean counters will just want to know how many seats there are... not what it feels like to sit in one. And just because you can get a Joey to maybe take interest because there is a wings-N-Beer joint next door doesn't mean you're going to fill the place.

Personally I don't understand that everyone is so angsty about. The media are a nothing but a bunch of front-running blurb-misers.The big dogs do it (most of the time just yanking their blurbs off the AP), and the little guys only want to be just like the big dogs."Local Programming" is too much like work when you can just act as a conduit for the networks and the syndication. It's all about taking the path of least resistance.Don't waste your time buying into the hype when these media outlets portray themselves as 'local', 'caring', and in-touch.They are nothing but content re-packagers. Ad space is king.I just want those kids to enjoy their time to shine and do something they can be proud of.I don't care who is tooting their horns. I'm not expecting anyone to carry our water.Let's just enjoy the ride

I think that if I was able to get a pair, i wouldn't wear them.... however, I would try to get them in my shoe size anywayI still think the logo is a bit of a joke, with it being inside and all. At least the person that wears it will get to see it. -
I'll be in my bunk -
uhh.... what? *tokes* That wuz profound dood. Go flushes...er......I've said this before and I'll say it again. Championships are a lot like gumbo in Jimmy Buffett's song I Will Play for Gumbo" when he writes about gumbo:"It's a little like religionand a lot like sex.You should never knowwhen you're gonna get it next."I have a funny feeling something special is about to happen in the next say 30 hours but I'm scared to actually type it. -

Didn't see the game... but to me the quantity of the calls isn't as important as the consistency in callsA block on one side of the floor should never be a charge when the same things happens on the other end... and all too often, I see that very problem and sometimes I just want to swear off watching basketball all-together because of it.

*knock on wood jinxunjinx* Let me submit the theory that if Akron wins the MAC tourney and gets into the NCAA dance, they will probably get more coverage from the Cleveland media with CSU also in it.... rather than the little blurbs Akron would get otherwise.... simply because of the heightened buzz about the big dance all together. But that's all academic. The zips have lots of work to do.
See today's PD. Awesome Zips and MAC coverage. It dwarf's CSU's.Have you ever been happy?uaZipsMan....a Cleveland State upset pretty much takes care of our coverage for the next couple of days. I've been there...1986 all over again. -
You guys suck!
I dunno why.... this made me laugh. What's wrong with me? *hangs head in shame*

This stuff takes time.... Seriously. I was a tall kid who couldn't add a lot of weight when I was 18. You got to do it right. Work hard, play hard, eat tons, and sleep8.... and over a long period of time, you fill out AND increase your strength and speed.BTW, thanx for the vids. LOL@teabagging.zipwatcher.Mom, That kid is not getting enough power lasagna. -
It's symbolic. Not suspending Singletary would have sent a bad message, about Can't's program, and about the MAC and about the game. You can argue about how long is appropriate and all that, but the point is that something was done. That's what matters. You may think it's a "slap on the wrist", but the point was made. He got an ejection that lasted nearly four quarters, and then he was rebuked by the organization he played for. The message was sent.Seriously. This is what passes for discipline at Can't? A suspension for one game that Can't doesn't even need him in? Doesn't this sound exactly like what he got for violating team rules and for blowing that .13? How well did that message get through to Chris?

I saw it and though "ouch, nice dig".I mean, it may be a little bit weak because no one shoots 100% and thus it can always be used, but still, let's not get sensitive. Low class would say "yo mama so ugly"actually, that would be funny too.Did anybody else think the flushing sign that said "Failure" on that video screen on the floor was low class? flushing the word "Brick" I get, that's fun, but "failure" is low class to me. -
That's what I am talking about, in a circuitous sort of way (I know what you meant, BTW, but I find this appropriate to my point in a different way)If we fans were to throw a punch at a player, or throw bottles onto the court, we would get arrested and our team could even get fined if the foray got out of hand. The point is, we are just spectators. We are not a part of what happens on the court. Like the floor of the Roman Colosseum, they have their own code. It's not our job to whine for Nate. They have their own order of things... their own jurisdiction in a way. I actually like the point made on the board that letting things like this go harms the integrity of the game. That is why I think that Can't and the MAC should be pressured to respond to this incident.... not to make us happy or even to protect a certain player, but because it deserves a response.A message needs to be sent for the integrity of the game.I just don't think we need to get to whiney once our protest has been lodged.I dunno. The shot looks deliberate, but it doesn't look hard to me. Yes, I understand that everyone is a bit tender there. He should get a one game suspension for deliberately dirty play. That's probably about it.Nate isn't a wuss, right? He doesn't need a bunch of momma's trying to throw their skirts in front of him. I think Can't should be pressured to issue a suspension and when that happens, we need to stop the hissy."They're plastic bottles...they don't pack that much of a whallop."
