  1. +1. Solid competition yet still let our team gel.
  2. ^^This is why I'm happy they got YSU back on the schedule. We need as many rivalry games as we can get. No rival will be as fierce as Kent. But we've also got pretty good rivalries going with OU & UB. We need to intentionally stoke those rivalries and let students & the community know, yes, these are rivals. Add YSU & UT to the mix & we've got an exciting, yearly football schedule full of meaningful games. Kent Ohio Buffalo Toledo YSU Get the mayor of Akron in on bets with the mayors of Toledo, Buffalo & Youngstown. Get the respective cities various social media accounts involved. Bring back the Steel Tire Trophy. Maybe develop trophies for the Toledo, Buffalo & Ohio games. Idk. It just seems like every year comes and goes and all we do is simply hope that people show up.
  3. I can’t give you any. For years I’ve been hoping we’d intentionally develop the seemingly natural rivalry with UT.
  4. To be fair to Terry, he actually compared us to Alabama. ?
  5. ??? (Out of Likes)
  6. Bring on Purdue & Kentucky. Clemson, on the other hand...
  7. That's a disappointment.
  8. The @LZIp posted wasn't working for me. If anyone else was having the same problem, click this link.
  9. Good call! Correct you are.
  10. I'll take it none the less! We don't get articles like this very often.
  11. Good point. Speaking of Jaden, according to VerbalCommits dot com Jaden is transferring to Stony Brook.
  12. 6'9" Taylor Currie. But we need another. We're losing 6'9" X and 6'10" Riak
  13. Interesting. I do hope leaving Buchtel was of Matt's own volition. I thought he was doing a great job there and was a perfect fit for the Griffins. If anyone has any inside knowledge of Matt's situation at Buchtel (including the strange Livingston situation last summer) please DM me.
  14. I'm much more familiar with football recruiting, so I've got a potentially stupid question. I see a lot of 2-star recruits, but with our soccer program being a sincere national power, shouldn't we be signing 4 & 5-star players?
  15. Tyriq Mack, CB, 6'1", San Francisco CC.  HIs tape looks really good.
  16. Got our first verbal of the class of '21 and it's a good one! Hudl profile
