Well on the one hand I wish Can't would have at least made it close. On the other, I hate Can't State!

Oh wait I forgot the Suckeyes. But I don't cheer for them as a matter of principle anymore.

Now all I have to cheer for in college basketball is Can't State. Yuck!

Actually I usually stay to the bitter end at the JAR. And I am still watching the score update hoping we make it look more respectable.

Nice season, hopefully next year we can be in the NCAA tournament instead. Now I can't wait until football and soccer!

My bad it is last years NIT teams. Guess that shows it really is the Nobody's Interested Tournament!I saw Miami Ohio and Buffalo (I assumed Buffalo was listed instead of Akron) but didn't notice Can't State. So CBS Sportsline is slow on the update of that one. I'm tired of CBS Sportsline getting the Zips basketball record wrong most of the year. And they have it wrong again now. They keep underreporting our wins by 1 (2 now because they haven't updated for last night's game yet, which is at least excusable) which I thought was due to our one non-division 1 win, but they count Can't States non-division 1 win in its record. I agree, Akron's inability to hold leads burned them this time. I think Can't will win by 10 or more. Hopefully Akron will go to the NIT. And next year we should be improved, and maybe finally make it back to the NCAA tournament! This year is the 20 year anniversary of the one and only NCAA Tournament (division 1 that is) appearance in Akron history, so I was hoping to make it back on the anniversary but no way now.

Good Job Can't State! Hopefully this will be the first of many 20 win seasons for us too. And if Can't continues their streak too it only helps the MAC. But that doesn't mean I like Can't. I'd rather have anybody win the MAC tournament over them.
