I unfortunately am not expecting the Zips to win, but I do expect them to give themselves a chance. Go Zips!
I'm in agreement here. Not expecting a win, but hopeful. Keep it close and give yourself a chance at the end.

There's not one thing that will magically transform the game-day experience. It's going to take a combination of things: good team, updated/renovated facility, better marketing, etc.

A big second half gets us the win.

Reghi needs to learn that sometimes you should let the game speak for itself.
Or just let Jacki talk.

With the lead, we can afford to be more selective on the offensive end. Don't rush and wait for a good shot.
-
Plowden is still good. Don't foul him shooting a three.
-
A couple of good possessions in a row. Now up 6.

Plowden is good.

Listened to some of the first half. Seems like inconsistency is the name of the game.

Let's be frank. As a MAC coach can should you really do anything other than follow that very plan given the inescapable conclusion that the MAC is a one bid NCAA tournament conference regardless of anything that happens in the regular season.
Despite the gaudy records for Toledo and Ohio, neither one is in the bubble conversation because neither has the quality wins that are required for an invite. Per the NET rankings, neither one has a quad 1 win. Until teams can schedule and beat top teams, this trend of being a one team league will continue.
With that being said, Clark is 100% right. If you know your only shot is to win the MAC Tournament, you've got to test things out during the regular season to see what works and what doesn't.

That timeout was a momentum killer.

At the end of the third quarter, Akron 49 and Ohio 47.

My daughter, who attends BG, informed me that Joe Reece and Myron Gordon are no longer with the team. They are the team's second and third leading scorers. Anyone else hear anything about this?

Nice to see them finish the game without an Eastern run.

Wynn trying to get the loose ball. We need more hustle like that.

They hold on to win 73-64.

In the game and a half this year against Eastern, they are averaging 22.7 points per half. Let's hope that trend continues.

Nice finish of the half to push the lead to 15.
