A great idea. Catering to retirees and an already-established aging alumni base at the cost of alienating younger alumni sets up major problems down the road. That very thing has been happening for years now, but this is a good step towards rectifying the situation.
I also like the idea of special parking passes or an exclusive parking lot. Put them together and encourage tailgating.
While I believe that Evans will play at the point for the most part, it doesn't hurt that he provides additional depth at both guard positions. Depth at guard is never a bad thing.
