    I would recommend that Coach Fleming gets hired by Princeton. To be affiliated with an Ivy League school is a great thing.

    What? Do you really want to wait another five years and go through this cycle again?Why can't we ever hire a coach that can win both with the players we have now and with his own in the future? There is enough talent on this team to win immediately. There is no sense in waiting around for a new generation of players to start to contribute.

    I have no interest in his speech. I don't care how good he is at marketing himself. Unless he gets Akron to a bowl game next year I will not like this hire.If he wins games consistently, I'll become his biggest fan. But I have seen nothing to suggest that he is capable of doing so.

    There were 40 tickets sold to students on Monday morning. I think another 40 were sold later as general public tickets. Maybe a few more bought theirs online.

    Having good recruiting classes at ND is a given. The players are rated high because they are going to ND. If the same players went to Akron they would all be two-star recruits and we would have a bottom-20 recruiting class according to Scout and Rivals.
