Listen guys...I'm not trying to take this to no deep, philosophical, argumentative place...so let's not get on any "soap boxes". I am simply ASKING A QUESTION because I thought about it...END OF DISCUSSION!! Just asking...that is all...and thanks for your comments/responses/replies....moving on to Tuesday game against CMU.

So the question is...would the MAC ever consider giving one player 2 major conference awards? Zeke continues to play outstanding on offense...we win the MAC. Would the conference ever consider giving both to one player? POY AND DPOY??

Ok...call me crazy...BUT putting this question out there. I personally believe that Zeke is a LOCK for MAC Defensive Player of the Year...BUT IF he keeps playing the way he is COULD there be possible that he could be named POY as well? **Disclaimer..I know that DJ is probably way ahead for that honor or maybe even McCrea...BUT...would the MAC even consider something like that?

I agree with you AKZipper and RFR44....no doubt they ABSOLUTELY have to take 1 game at a time and keep their focus on the next opponent...BUT you have to admit that THAT is way to funny! SSSooooo...I must confess that I was trolling the boards and went on BGSU board and saw this post: Here is title: "It's been 10 years since we have beaten Akron....at home!" Post #1: BGSU33 Akron has walked into BG eight....yes, EIGHT....consecutive times and has come away with a win each time. BG has not beaten Akron in BG since January 18, 2003. It's been a decade since we have beaten the Zips at how....incredible. Post #2: BGSU33 Last year BG lead from the start until under one minute to play, as Akron took its first lead with :32 to play before BG regained the lead before, then losing by one point with one second to go. AND THE REASON WHY I STARTED THIS THREAD.... Post #3: BleedOrange Blah blah blah. Look 33, why even bring this up? This time it isn't even going to be a game...Akron is gonna come into the Stroh and slap our a$$ and call us Sally. It's gonna be 9 consecutive. Pull their starters off the roster and they're still the favorites. The entire prospect of this game bores me. Just be done with it right now. Pffffftttt.

So, my husband gets to our seat and tells me that I am suppose to go and get my bobblehead from the table on the first floor. When I get there the young man tells me...and I quote. "some white lady already came down and said that she was picking up 3 bobbleheads for Zeke's mom". I asked him did he know this woman and he said he had no idea who she was but that she was "supposedly" told to pick up bobbleheads for me! 1. I had no idea who this woman was/is. 2. I would NEVER send someone to do anything for me during a game. I am both disappointed and angry that ANYONE would use me as a way to STEAL. Just pray I don't EVER find out who it was that did it! #You should be ashamed#

Hey family...so let me put everyones speculation concerning Zekes T...he yelled at the player GET OFF ME...as he was coming down and the ref decided to call the T! The player called Zeke a "female dog"..but as you saw Zeke maintained his composure and we are now 6-0!

Ok..how about this marketing idea. Get some new warm-up pants and put the "@ZipsMBB" down the pant leg....MMmmmm.....

OK...ssssoooo...I have 2 questions? 1. Is the jersey and the shorts 2 DIFFERENT COLORS? (It's the fashionista in me) and 2. Valid point JSF...however, having gone to THOUSANDS of games (as 2 of my 4 sons were ballers both in high school and college)...there is NOTHING like hearing YOUR FELLOW STUDENTS, CLASSMATES, ROOMMATES, DRINKING BUDDIES whomever they are....cheering you on! It pumps the players up, it gives them an adrenaline rush, it pumps up the coaches and the truth of the matter..it is INTIMIDATING to our opponents. When the ENTIRE CROWD gets into the game..it literally changes the ATMOSPHERE of that arena and for someone like me...I LOVE THAT STUFF! However, you are absolutely correct in that people can react and/or response as THEY seem fit....BUT...it just "LOOKS" bad and its unfortunate! #ITSMYOPINIONANDI'MENTITLED2IT#

See THAT is the mistake that soooo many make. Everyone assumes that he has to be this MONSTER SCORING MACHINE..but the truth of the matter is that the "reports' from those who are the "DECISION MAKERS".... have said nothing but positive things about his progress. What people don't understand is that, at the end of the day, they want to know if he is COACHABLE, have a positive UPSIDE and can make a difference..and they ALL have said YES, YES & YES!
