I loved Huggy. Entertaining basketball. Plus I understand his offensive and defensive philosophy. I'm not smart enough to understand KD's offense and defense. I think that's why I get bored and frustrated watching Akron sometimes. If he ever taught a class on it, I would take it so I could enjoy the games more.

If I never watched a Zips basketball game and just listened to KD talk about defense, I would think he was Butler's coach. Great defense. I wish the Zips played defense like that. Then I could swallow all the defensive talk that KD gives us. Please spare me some long winded statistical response to this post.

I was lucky enough to be on the PSU field before any fans were let into the stadium last year. Guess who the first guy on the field was, catching passes before anybody other than AA stepped a foot on the field? Bowser. He was working hard at his craft and continued until game time. As far as Devoe leaving. I am a little disappointed. I thought he had talent. BUT, I think I agree with STZ, smooth, good frame, but needed to run harder. In hindsight, I wish Tuzze got all his carries last year. Less smooth and frame, more hard nose north and south runner. I think the spread offense fit Devoe's style better, in the pro style offense, we will be running between the tackles more. We need hard nose north and south runners. Move them chains. With the switch between both offense and defensive schemes, you would have to expect players moving positions and players not fitting and moving on. I think this is just a natural progression of a coaching change.

I never thought of Humpty transferring until I read this thread. I hope he doesn't and I don't think he will. I think back to times in the MAC tourney like the time he went over to Nik on the bench to talk to him and cool him down. It seemed to me like he was progressing in team communication on the bench to me at the end of the season. He didn't have the body language of a guy that was transferring. I think he has a lot of potential and just needs to focus more. Although, knowing very little about the kids feelings, it wouldn't surprise me either.

Hard work in practice will get Steve playing time, not Facebook pages. Good luck to him.
