I was lucky enough to be on the PSU field before any fans were let into the stadium last year. Guess who the first guy on the field was, catching passes before anybody other than AA stepped a foot on the field? Bowser. He was working hard at his craft and continued until game time.
As far as Devoe leaving. I am a little disappointed. I thought he had talent. BUT, I think I agree with STZ, smooth, good frame, but needed to run harder. In hindsight, I wish Tuzze got all his carries last year. Less smooth and frame, more hard nose north and south runner. I think the spread offense fit Devoe's style better, in the pro style offense, we will be running between the tackles more. We need hard nose north and south runners. Move them chains.
With the switch between both offense and defensive schemes, you would have to expect players moving positions and players not fitting and moving on. I think this is just a natural progression of a coaching change.
