    Will never happen. IMHO, Schools would outright refuse to be apart of it in Akron is in it. Doing it on their own? It is a 20-Loss Season if they do a Miami-Like Gauntlet Schedule....

    The record. I hate any Conference winners in Dayton(other then when the SWAC a couple of years ago with all of the APR issues), but that is what they decided.....

    ^Agreed. Buffalo is NOT that good and they would get smoked as (My projection) a 14 Seed. Akron on the other hand is a Prayer from be a Tuesday Afternoon in Dayton. I just do not see that happening.....

    It used to have more weight, until the Missouri Valley Conference figured out how to game the system. That is where it became less of a factor....

    That's fair. A record does not mean anything anymore due to when the College of Charleston won 30 games (if I remember correctly) and still got only a 8th seed. Go on a super-strong long win streak, and you will be on the mix.
