I know Iowa has offered for him to play DB. And I think another Big Ten school has offered. I think the only way he plays RB is in the MAC otherwise he will be a DB.

Does this mean he will be playing football next year????? Anybody know anyhting about this. Then Ray Williams and his side spoke. He mentioned that Lorenzo Hunter "was my little brother...People who know me know how much Lorenzo meant to me." It turns the University of Akron will accept Williams once he gets his diploma from the Cleveland Schools, as he was a 1/2 credit short of graduating from Benedictine and finished up in the Cleveland school system. Williams's attorneys also had several character witnesses speak on his behalf. The common theme for both Huddleston and Williams was that they needed a chance to havesomeone turn their lives around (my question is, shouldn't Benedictine have been that opportunity that they were now asking for?).

Last night on Steve French's tv show he talked about the bowl situation. He said he was told that under the table the MAC East and West champion will get a bowl bid. And I agree with that thinking. It would be total BS not to send the champ from each division to a bowl game. He also went on to say that since the Zips have not be to a bowl before that the most likely would end up in the Motor City Bowl. Because it is close to Akron and more fans would probably go there rather than drive to Alabama. Of couse if the Zips don't beat the Redhawks none of this will matter. One play at a time for 60 minutes. Git-R-Done!!!!!!!

Pressure Pressure Pressure!!!!! The Zips D must get pressure on the Miami QB. And the DB's must play tighter coverage on the WR's. Or we may see the same huge passing numbers that Marshall got. I see the Zips running game have a huge day on Saturday. The Zips have the Redhawks on the ropes last season until Owens/Winters called a pass on fisrt and goal around the 5 and it was picked off.

Do we really know how good or how bad this Zips team is???? I don't think we do. The thing I know about this team is the play hard for 60 mins and never quit. After starting the season off so slow they could have just packed it in for the rest of the season but they didn't. And they never quit after being dwon 28 - 7 to the Herd. A great coach once said if you play hard for 60 mins you you never konw what can happen.
