hopefully, the zips will move up in the RPI this week
Penn State upset highly ranked Northwestern 1-0 yesterday....so that win over Penn St ...should get more credence in the RPI
Zips should move past Indiana with Michigan knocking off the hoosiers

game tracker really messed up....
they showed a pitt player scoring at 66 minutes to make it 2-1 pitt
late in the game, they showed a u conn player scoring at 66 minutes
game tracker now shows uconn winning 2-1
who knows?
-
right after I sent the uconn score at 56 minutes, uconn scored at 58 minutes to tie it at 1-1
Pitt just scored at 66 minute mark to go up 2-1
that would be mammoth upset

NIU twitter giving the zips no credit
Very much against the run of play, Akron goes up 2-0 on a goal by Reinaldo Brenes in the 85th minute.
Eight minutes to go and it really is all NIU right now. The Zips still lead 1-0 however.
my comment...look at the scoreboard, HUSKIES

Akron nearly found the net again in the 5th minute. An initial shot in the crossbar and the rebound was ruled offside.

Coach G's comments
QUOTABLE:
"Tonight was a game between two good teams. We didn't play the best that we are capable of, but scored two good goals and that should have been enough to grind out the result on the road. We have to learn that we need to control everything that we can to help us be successful. You never know what play on either side of the ball will be the one that defines the game. Therefore, you have to play all the plays as well as you possibly can. For me, I didn't feel as though we did that tonight and it cost us. I told the team that in every game, you have to control everything that you can to ensure that you get the result you want. When we are able to do that for 90-plus minutes, I'm not sure this group will lose again. Until we can do that, we leave ourselves vulnerable, especially against good teams like we played against tonight. Now we need to turn our attention to a very good Butler team who got a big win tonight."
