About time to put Roggow or someone else in, for sure. I guess give it to the end of the third quarter.
-
That's a sentence never written before on here.
-
If ESPN wants the Turnover Tire in a bowl, and Akron gets to 6-6, it will happen.
-
Unless the RB fumbled and the QB forced the fumble to get it right back? But yeah usually bad.
-
I do agree. Alas, 27-10 isn't bad.
-
Good first half by the Zips. I think with how the offense has done, I'd have tried to move the ball. But it's not egregious.
-
Not the best kick there...
-
Well this has been fun so far.
-
I don't disagree. Just...since they long since punted on things, may as well take what little progress we can get
-
I know. I'd be willing to stay the course if they get to 6-6
-
But it IS progress.
-
I didn't think it was that egregious. At least we got it back
-
Would you look at that. Would like the defense to step up a bit more but if the offense keeps scoring TDs on 75% of their drives, I guess it's OK. Moorhead's offense doing its job tonight.
-
Ok so Akron, let's get back up ahead two scores thanks
-
That's because he probably also plays RB and LB.
-
Very true. Also don't really blame Finley for sliding short in the first quarter there
-
It's five yards more than a touchback. UMass is decent on kick returns, I don't mind the strategy.
-
Well UMass isn't going to lie down, I guess.
-
How much of this is "Akron really is getting better" versus "how bad is UMass" But Akron does look legitimately decent so far tonight. 6-6 is still alive...
-
Really can't ask for a better start
-
Can't ask for a better start to this one

I think the weekday games were 100% worth trying. But it's just reached well past its expiration date in usefulness.
-
Yeah that's nuts. They really should be trying to get as many people as they can (which will always be limited, given it's a Tuesday against UMass and the team is 3-6 in its possibly best season in almost a decade).
-
Yes, they must beat UMass on Tuesday first. Dumb question time...do they do discounted tickets or anything of the sort for the Tuesday games? I may actually be able to go this week or next.
-
Given where this program has been since that 50-3 game, I'll take the Bowl.
