If the Zips go all in and outZip themselves, losing to 0-8 UMass, at least it'll be on a sparsely attended Tuesday night for the 135th highest attended FBS school.
-
Too bad it's impossible here.
-
Nah things are still great. They even have three whole wins!
-
Not if they don't know the team is playing there.
-
That might be. For example, the 1997 game in Lincoln was only a 59-14 loss for Zippy.
-
Are common blowouts really all that new with college football, though? I think that's kind of always been the issue.
-
I think that's fair. 6-6 would be enough to keep him and hope he can figure out the first half of the season (@ Wake, @ Minnesota, Robert Morris, UNLV is a reasonably similar noncon schedule to 2025). Certainly not enough to consider extending given 14-34 is still the record.

November 26, 2022. Akron beat NIU, Kent beat Buffalo
-
If they get to 6 wins, they can apply for a waiver to get a bowl game. No guarantees they get it though if their APR can show improvement this season, they might get it granted.
-
Ah ok. I missed that
-
Well it certainly would be a weird time to announce he's leaving. Can you share a link with where this was announced?
-
Yes, the second-half offense...that's the type of offense that can get you to Detroit if it's consistent. Especially with this defense.
-
Defense did their job, offense did just enough, and Akron still alive for a hail mary waiver request for a bowl.
-
What a strange game. But looks like maybe a decent win for Akron today. Maybe.
-
24-16, 6:04 left Akron needs this game to end immediately
-
Buffalo imploding like they're the Zips. This is a wild change.
-
I think we should just extend Moorhead now so we don't have to worry about it.
-
Akron got a fourth down stop And then gave it right back. And then took it right back.
-
And Kent just beat Bowling Green 24-21.
-
What's frustrating about this is...where is this offense on the regular? But Akron has the lead now
-
That's certainly the hope.
-
Apparently when they can script a little, the offense is competent. Can they keep it up now that we have a new ballgame?
-
It's amazing that Moorhead has done so poorly recruiting that Ben Finley is incapable of losing this job as the obvious only playable choice.
-
It's been time for many weeks. But apparently Roggow looked at Joe sideways the wrong way once in the spring.
-
Only took him two years after the rest of us did. Offensive genius moves slowly, I guess.
