I have no problem with the current uniforms at all, infact I think they're very sharp. I'd like to see what white pants would look like on the white jerseys, or blue with the blue ones.I would, however, like to see the old school oval "A" logo on the helmets with blue facemasks.

Looks like I won't be getting anything till I come back to Akron in July, as shipping and handling on a 16 dollar t-shirt is 30 bucks to Alaska.

I don't think it was ment that DW CAN'T go for over 200 yards, in my opinion, he's going to get his yards one way or another. I think what was ment was the number of times he carries the ball. Wolfe was approaching 40+ carries and by the last one, couldn't get the few yards needed to seal up the game. One thing I like about this Zips team is they KNOW how to come from behind on a big stage. They've done it twice in the last two years, against Marshall and NIU, both on national television. Now, hopefully they won't have to come from behind in this game, but this isn't a team to count out if they get down by a couple touchdowns.

The actual Balto is stuffed in the Cleveland Museum, believe it or not, Fritz is here though. Lol I don't have any kids, I'm a student at Akron here working for a year, I'll be back next season. It's bittersweet for me, born and raised in the shadow of the Rubber Bowl, suffering through all the terrible teams, and they FINALLY get it done and I'm 3,700 miles away in Nome. It's a giant Not that that will keep me from enjoying it

Hopefully the school puts out a TON of MAC Championship apparel. Not only is it appropriate for such an occasion, probably wouldn't hurt getting the word out that the program is on the rise.

Hey douchebag, Akron beat NIU TWICE this season, once with horvath, once without. MAC Champions: Akron Zips I still dont believe it. I grew up down the street from the Rubber Bowl and took nothing but crap my entire life from people when they found out I was from Akron, even worse when I said I go to the university. Maybe it will set in tomorrow

I wish I could be in Detriot this thursday, but I live in Alaska, so that won't be happening However, me and a bunch of guys are going to party and watch the game, it's on at 3:30pm here with the time difference hahaha. Also, everyone here that's seen the Akron logo on all my stuff LOVES it. Most have never heard of the Zips, but love the logo and the team nickname. Interesting bit of info I thought.

Another good store is Cracker Barrel in Montrose off I 77. Lots of Zips stuff there, and not too bad prices either. The bookstore at the Student Union is also another good one.

The Ruhlin Company, the people who did Route 8, the new student union, and just about everything else on campus, was contracted a couple weeks ago by the university to explore the options for the new stadium in the proposed location.

I'm a student and I'll be there, driving up on my own though.

It's freakin pathetic and embarrasing when the JAR looks like that. However those of us that were there, we were loud and proud.
