It's great to see more games at Canal Park. Better for everyone involved. My guess is everyone with Akron (especially players and coaches) would love to play all their games there but scheduling conflicts with the Aeros are hard to avoid.

I understand that class ranking doesn't equal wins. Just was curious as how our players compare to the players other MAC schools signed.

Where does our class rank within the MAC? I saw Rivals has Toledo as the #1 MAC class, but haven't seen much else conference wide.

McClanahan. Not trying to put everything on Brett, but he definitely wasn't the same player this year. My mind just keeps going back to him. Would have loved to see this team with 10-11 Brett who scored 10 a game and shot 39% from 3 as opposed to 4.4 and sub 30%.

It's a great deal, and I will be doing it again this year. I was surprised how many people didn't know about it last year. I saw lots of walk-ups purchasing tickets at the box office.

17-3 loss to Iowa today. 4 errors. 6 walks. Did manage 12 hits today so that's a plus. Let's hope we get W #1 tomorrow against 0-7 YSU

Tough February for the Zips. Starting off 0-6 and being outscored 50-13. Tough teams to start off with. It's a rebuilding season no doubt, but hopefully they can battle within the MAC.

If Tressel is the AD in waiting, I think there will have to be someone else in that position between TW and Tressel. I do not see TW getting 5 more years.

I believe Tressel will be involved with Alumni relations and he will be the administrator that athletics reports to.

Michael Reghi just mentioned that Jim Tressel might be joining the University in some aspect. From things that I have heard, he will be dealing with Alumni relations and have athletics report to him. I was very surprised to her Reghi mention this and he said it might happen tomorrow morning. I know that Akron and Tressel have had talks in the recent weeks including meetings between Proenza and Tressel about him possibly coming on board. I thought the Colts job might deter that but it sounds as if this may happen. This would be a great move for Akron. This not just a random made up room. I trust my source on this.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rankings with the MAC to see where the "experts" think we stack up. Anyone have sources they trust for rankings?
