Go all MAC teams this weekend. Go Buffalo, Go Ohio, Go BGSU, Go CMU, Go Toledo and Go Can't. Most importantly Go ZIPS!!!! We can use wins in all of these games for this conference!

For all those who said Bowden would instantly depart Akron if he turned the program around; in this interview he almost all but confirms that he wouldn't. He said that Akron is really the last team for the Bowdens and that he would love to coach for another 10-15 years

I told my students today that if the Zips win, they all get extra credit equal to the amount of points that the Zips win by. So for the sake of my HS students GO ZIPS!!

I think someone said that it was behind one of the goal posts. However, my tickets were cheaper than buying through athletics...and are 1000x better seats.

I have a feeling there's a reason why no depth Chart can be found... 1) keeping it a secret and 2) It really doesn't matter for most positions on both sides of the ball, because with Bowden's style most positions sub people in and out to keep a fast pace. Two exceptions: KP as QB and JC as the primary RB.

There is one think I do like that he has done: New Roo Weekend. It's now completely changed how Freshman get integrated into UA and hopefully will build a bigger sense of community with the incoming students down the road. My biggest problem with UA since I've been there (and I graduate in the Fall) is that there has been almost NO sense of community what-so-ever. Most of the people in charge of things just seem to be going through the motions rather than actually caring. The No. 1 problem with UA in my opinion is the lack of community, and JT has helped in that sense. Now I'm not sure he's president material...I think we need someone who's going to mop up education side of UA. There's far too many departments that are being run like a circus rather than a reputable institution.
