Not surprisingly the Zips are rated low. Too low in my opinion. We will see in less than a month.

Good news, according to our friends at Top Drawer he is the 80th ranked player. Let's hope we can continue getting top talent.

One other note, will Adam Najem be back? Let's hope so.

Now that the season has ended on a disappointing note. How do we feel about next years team? How many transfers are going to leave and can Embick get any top notch recruits to join the program? Maybe Caleb can send some more of his Timbers academy players or we can get back to getting some nationally ranked recruits. In my opinion Embick needs to have a better year next year or I hope we find someone else who could get us past the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Why wouldn't Najem take the penalty kick?

I agree with all, very disappointing performance all around. Didn't seem to be much fire out on the field. Not sure of the lineup, seemed to be numerous starters that didn't start. The team is young and needs time to learn each other. I hope Friday is much better and we see a more determined Zips effort. Thanks to Jake the keeper for throwing a ball at the beginning of the match to my 8 year old daughter. Go Zips.

Has anyone been to Top Drawer Soccer lately? It seems that Akron has added a few more recruits although none of them are ranked higher than a 3 star recruit. I know that stars don't necessarily mean that a recruit will be a great player but it seems like the recruiting is down. Does anyone know anything about these new recruits? Thanks.

I'm new to this forum and new to Akron soccer. I would appreciate any guidance. I want to buy an Akron soccer jersey and I can't find a website that seems to have them with the exception of jerseys4sale.net. Is there another site or somewhere were I could purchase a jersey?
