  1. Not sure what's going on...Does anyone know why Kwan's offense game has been limited. I see his defense has been very good over last year. But to see what he did the first half of the year... putting up great numbers and in the last few games not too much offense. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks
  2. So, can some one tell me why is so hard for us to get a road win??? I just don't understand how we can dominate at home ...but struglle on the road.
  3. It's amazing what I'm reading on these post. Just because you lose one player does't define the team as a whole. This team needs to refocus and come together as team to win games. I know Tree is a beast on the boards but I feel we do have a team that will surprise all of us at the end. Instead of all the negative remarks let's get behind these players, coaches and support them with positive remarks. Every player will have a role to play and maybe this is what they needed. Because the focus just won't be one player but as a TEAM.

  5. I watch the game and thought the team chemistry was a lot better than last year. I can't really make any judgments until they have play more games. I did like seeing Kwan Cheatham Jr playing the post. He played only 13 minutes but in those 13 minutes he had 7 pts and 7 rebounds and no turnovers. I think overall that this team will be better than last year.
  6. No. why you ask? I'm just a fan who has been following him since his high school career.
  7. Ok, can someone explain why Kwan Cheatham jr isn't getting any playing time. You have a 6'10 kid who can play . How do you except for him to get better if you don't play him. He might be that kid that can help clog up the middle. I'm confused!!!
  8. Thanks for your thoughts truly appreciated it
  9. Since it seems you know alot about the team. Do you know why Coach D isn't playing Kwan Cheatham Jr? If he wasn't going to play him he should of redshirt him... What are your thoughts? Thanks
  10. Can anyone tell me why Coach D hasn't played Kwan Cheatham Jr? Does he plan to redshirt the freshman?
  11. Just an FYI Kwan Cheatham was not an after thought . Coach Dambrot personally recruited Kwan himself since his Junior year. Kwan Cheatham also had interest from UC, Xaiver and few more ... Also, remember what you did in high school is in the past. All that matters is what they can do now. And it seems Kwan Cheatham had a good performance his first game.
  12. I really can't see Kwan Cheatham getting a redshirt. He's 6'9 and very talent..he can surely help Big Dog and Pat out at 5 position. He can also play at the 4 postion. I know there will a need for him and reshirting doesn't seem be an option for him. Especially since Coach D wants to go BIG Pat is 6'11, Big Dog 6"10 and Kwan is 6'9 1/2 that's a big front court. It will be interesting to see what happens.
  13. I would like to clear up some facts regarding Kwan. He has never been a SG has always played the 3 and 4. Really started playing the 5 in his junior year of AAU which in his junior year of high school her actual play the 3, 4 and 5 sometimes he brought the ball up as the 1 if needed. Also, Kwan grew to about 6 '8 over the summer of his junior year and weigh about 215. This past year he grew another inch in half which brings him to 6'9 1/2 and about 235 lbs. Kwan will turn 18 this August and if he continues to develop his ball handles because he can already shoot the ball and his defense is on point. I really can't see them red-shirted Kwan with all that height and talent his has.
  14. Akron is getting a great player...I've had the pleasure to watch this young man for the past few years. He's 6'9 and still growing , he can play pretty much all positions. I've been told he will work out to get stronger and get ready to compete for a position coming up his Freshman year. He might be young be his skills and basketball IQ will knock your socks off. Rumor is he will be in attendance at the Can't State on March 8th...
