I can tell ya! bad non conference schedule. UMBCC, Coppin St????? I don't know why we play these teams. I know we will never get OSU, Cincinnati at our place. But certainly we can look at Dayton, CSU, Xavier, and in surrounding areas. EKU, WKU, Detroit, Why don't we look at some teams in the middle of the pack in some of the bigger conferences. Seton Hall, Providence, St. Johns, Bradley, UAB, UNC-Asheville or UNC-Charlotte...............just thinking aloud but have we made an effort to try for some home & homes with these schools. One of the things i thought worked well was the BB tourney in cleveland back in Dec. Going back 10-15 years. Usually it was 4 team tourney with 3 out of 4 ohio schools. CSU, Ohio, Akron, Can't St. Cincy. Maybe we need something like that again....or push for a neutral floor. Who wants to go on Sat night to see Coppin St, if you aren't a season ticket holder. No intrigue, no drama......Schedule better.....know its tougher than it looks but stick to your guns.

As far as I know....he's always been walkman guy........someone had stated that in a thread. but i originally asked about 1&1 conversions. still waiting!

great game! we almost gave it away! I'm interested to know how many 1&1's we have converted this season. It seems every time we get a 1&1, we can't convert. i know everyone is gonna talk FT......especially Walkman guy and Capt Obvious and his wife. Looking at their little phones and spitting out stats. "we're 38%..(another missed FT), now we're 35%" I mean Come On dude! You're not Doug Gottlieb. We won the game!!!! See you on the 27th.

yeah....that walkman guy is in my section. he bothers me. he'll turnaround and yell the opposing teams record or the bio of a player. I know he isn't talking to me but its annoying when he shouts it as I'm trying to watch the game.

Live by the 3! be prepared for a 17 or 18 win season. Only positive would be lower seed and your chance to play more games in MAC tourney. Its a rhythm thing. Cant have a bye and expect to stay hot so......there you go!

This team loves the outside shot! WHY???? they have some size now. I lost count(well not really) on how many times there was dribble penetration and then a dish outside. I ave noticed this with Dambrot coached teams that they penetrate and dish for the 3. Why??? Unfortunately, this team is not going to go far in the tourney. I think they will be around 500 this year in the MAC. give or take a game on the plus side. Hopefully this year is used for experience, rotations, etc.... Next Year is the year we should make a statement!

i'll be there with a couple of fellow alumni, at the Clevelander. Then going to the game. This game always gets me a little uneasy. OU tired or not....they have that in game rhythm....i akron will be well rested so.....they should attack the hoop! this fade away BS is relied on too much. oh yeah.......hit your free throws!!! there important in this tourney! GO ZIPS!!!!!!!!

yes....and then we will lose in the semi's. This is the year of transition. I see us getting stronger and back on top in 2 years.

I'm sorry but 59% FT is terrible. Whoever that asst. coach is that is responsible should be fired. Year in & year out our FT% is always bad. I think we would have still lost the Toledo game but 60-70 % that day. would have made our loss by 5-6 points. And by that...the game would have taken on a new twist in the closing minutes.

last year against North Dakota State Univ. at home. We need a signature ROAD win.

All points are valid....but we have to MAC the tourney to get into the show. You cant bank on an at large bid to get in. Bracketbuster wins are great. How did that help us get into the show? Wins against Cant and OU. again great but the selection committee looks for signature wins, outside of the MAC...we may have had 1(MTSU) that was played at home last year. NDSU another at home. Sorry.....but they need a win on national TV get over that hump.

Agree, Quincy should get more time running the point. I am not a fan of Carmelo at all. Too small and does to much dribble penetration and then dump off.....usually in traffic where a turnover, jumpball, or a reset resulting in wasted clock management for the O. I have always said that KD needs to recruit PG's at least 6'0". His guards have no chance in marquee matchups due to height. We have been exposed far too often. I like Tree's play.....A BEAST! Really impressed with Old School! I said the other night that Forsthye would be damn good by the end of the season as I liked his play against CC but I may have to retract with Old School coming on strong. I hate it when we are on national TV. We just never play our best. On the other hand! Bring On MTSU!!! this should be a great game!!! Go Zips!!!
