My opinion is that the game on Jan 5th when students are out of class is actually an advantage for Mr. Coles and the Red Hawks some how, some way we need to get the AK-ROWDIES and AK-OLDIES Together to Make it a Miserable night for the Hawks...I hate MIAMI but I hate Can't EVEN MORE!! But JAN 5th we must PROTECT OUR HOUSE!!!

The Bookstore at the Student Union has some jerseys as well I think the numbers are 12, 19, and 84 not sure on the last one though! and not sure on price!

As an AK-ROWDIES member with only 1 football season left in me I would like to congradulate zip81 on creating the AK-OLDIES! That is just AWESOME and I hope in some way, shape or form the AK-ROWDIES and AK-OLDIES can have some events together! GO ZIPS and GOOD LUCK with this new and exciting group!!

I may be wrong on this one but let me know. Didn't CSU play at Value City Arena this year so wouldn't it almost be like a Home and Home game with CSU except obvisously CSU Convo is too small to fill an O-State Crowd??

Captian I have all the respect in the world for you I do and I know you are now starting to believe in the ROWDIES, I just want to point out a few things. EVERY road game I have gone to this season, (BG, OU, Niagra, EMU and now Duquesne) We have been louder then the whole building...EVEN at OU the 5 of us that were loud were being asked by the O ZONE why so quiet which means they could and did hear us through out the whole game. Same with toledo and the 50 who attended that game it took until we lost for their students to chant we cant hear you...I am headed to Buffalo Thursday I hear they are the best student section in the MAC I will judge them when I go. I do agree we can compete with the NO ZONE!!! GOOOO ZIPS!!!

I am a south sider. I love the south side I feel I NEED to be on the south side. Personally the things that have been said on here are quite rediculous. I see the same thing on both sides students that just want to be there and be down low students having non basketball conversations. The people I know who like to be on the south like to be on the south side to give the opponents ear fulls of things to think about on the bench in hopes to get into their heads...such as jockage (BG coach's nickname) did you see how many time he looked pissed off at the ROWDIES that was sweet. Personally as like as the DOWN LOW Sections everyone stands to make it LOOK good that's all I care about to be honest. I feel you stand and some how you get into the game some how and then you begin screamin getting into the game. Any student section can get away with just yelling DEFENSE or LETS GO YOUR TEAM NAME and that's fine. But I agree that until there is a fight over seats down low we can't inforce the rules of the ROWDIES board and student organization rule or whatever (that goes for the t-shirt rule too) YEAH it looks good but having people there looks even better. STANDING should be the ONLY "RULE" there should be sitting down low. That's all I have to say about that GO ZIPS!!! and

After doing a little scouting at the Toledo Can't Game I know excatly where the Rowdies should sit!! But I will be quiet till next friday maybe saturday!!!! its 6:07 and the Golden Showers still Suck

Why didn't you force them to come ALL SEASON long why'd u wait for the LAST HOME GAME...for all we know if you forced the girls to come back over break we could have beatin NEVADA and be undefeated at home. I mean sh*t if Nick F(from nevada) would have paid attention told you ladies being loud and he wouldn't have scored 23 points. So why enforce this rule for just 1 game think about.

I am not sure on this one but I think Temple is a full go in the MAC next year and I think they are in the east so I believe BG goes back to the west and Temple is now in the East so I think they are thrown in there somewhere too

TimmyBoy I am a senior and I have been to the MAC tourny for what will be the 3rd straight year. Ushers at the Q don't really care where students sit come sit with the ROWDIES and be loud and make your dream come true I am sure no other true Akron Student would mind having another body to be loud and BOOOOO BUBBA and CAN"T again!! so when you get to the Q come sit with us!!!

All I have to say is that was one of the best attended games of the year by the students!! I know I know it was OU and it was a big game. The weather didn't even effect a lot of the loyals! We were coplemented on how brutal we were by the 2 OU girls who came to watch their boy-friends get pounded! I think students (better late then never) are starting to realize we have something special with our Basketball team! The GREATEST MOMENT of the night was when BOTH sides were cheering on cue with each other on the cheer "Bubba has one point!" That was awwwesome!!! Lastly a buddy of mine and I stated when we were down in Athens that when OU comes up to Akron they will get beat by 15...31 sounds sooooo much better!!!Bubba can't shoot, can't score in the JAR and Can't State still SUCKS!!

Last Night was AWESOME! It seemed Athletics was very pleased with the way the students showed in HUGE numbers last night. My only concern is that it was one game. What next? BUFFALO (the team from Canada) Even though they are stuggling we need to show in the same number! So yes Congradulations to the K.E.N.T attendence but there are more games to go and it starts with Buffalo Sunday. I personally know that Druuuuu said it was loud last night, and that's way he likes it, however people who attended the first members meeting in November know that he is not satified after one try. Keep up the GREAT work, and then we will call out ALL other STUDENT sections in the MAC!BE LOUD, BE PROUD, BE ROWDY, AND OF COURSE GO ZIPS

Just want to see who will be at the Women's Game Today. Ladies had a good non-conference run its time to show up and suprise the teams in the Conference?Yes, BG is a great team...hung in with Duke for awhile but our girls have been playing very good defense lately! Who knows what could happen. Let's show up in full force!
