zipsbandman
According to theinsiders.com, Akron has finally offered Canton Mickinley senior Antwon Hight. The only other school we are in the running with is the defending champion rockets. Our possible help on the D-line? We'll see how good JD really is. zff
He is still up in the air with his grades and he was kicked off the team for part of this but was allowed back on after a fwe games. He would be a nice pick up but I think he is a risk........
zipper
But a lot of kids get their proverbial acts together in college. Antwon, we want you as a Zip!

Captain Kangaroo
Talked to a buddy of mine at the hoops game last night. He follows Stark County football pretty hard, and says "STAY AWAY FROM HIGHT." Guess the kid is bad news...many problems.
Hilltopper
I also talked to my McK booster friends about Hight. They said he was a tremendous talent but very tempermental. The coaching staff wanted him to play offensive tackle but he wanted to play TIGHTEND!. Thats what his suspension was all about. Once they other kid at TE was injured Hight took over and played quite well. Bottom line is this kid has a ton of talent, but getting him to play team ball might be a problem.
