Lee Adams Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 The O-line needs to get some credit for last weeks win at the'cuse..it is the key this week...the left side of the line, Kemme et. al opened holes for the ground game and pretty much kept CJ clean...IF the o-line can control bsu's old man on the d-line AND allow AA to have another big game the Zips have a chance...if not.... ZachTheZip Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 The only way to beat them is to force them to make mistakes on offense. Confuse some players, and create turnovers. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 The defense really needs to step up and pressure the QB into making mistakes. Other than that, just hope Jacquemain has another good performance. GO ZIPS!! Quote
BALLUgirly Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Hey ball State fan!!! Where can you tailgate around the stadium since it's downtown arkon? Also where's a good place to go later in the night....like a fun college bar?? Thanks and see you this saturday!! Quote

Sadly the UA line, which isn't very good in the first place, is missing even more pieces this week. Quote
Dr Z Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 It's all about defense. The 3-3-5 was created for a team like Ball State. It's time to shine D. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I'm wondering how much of an effect this rain could have on the game. I'd like to think a strong and deep Akron running game might take full advantage Quote
skip-zip Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 That's a pretty good defensive line, probably the strength of the defense, IF all of the starters were there. For now, we'll have to do what we can. I don't want to get into a shootout with these guys, but nobody is mentioning a key factor ....THE WEATHER FORECAST. Our solid and deep backfield might just be the difference if this turns into a game where it is difficult to throw the ball. Quote

It is right next to the Akron-Fulton Airport on the outskirts of the city. The entrance is at the corner of US Route 224 and State Route 241. There's a large field there for tailgating, with plenty of space. As for after the game, there are a few bars in downtown like the Barley House, the Ohio Brewing Company, and more. Some of the others here know more about the bar scene than myself. Quote
