MDZip
I was reading the story on Zips.com about the "topping-off" ceremony. Good story, fairly well written until I came across this (Dr. Proenza's remarks):“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to InfoCision Stadium at Summa Field. The progress being made is outstanding and this ‘Topping Off’ ceremony celebrates a significant milestone along the way. I want to recognize of course my colleagues Gary Taylor and Tom Strauss who are here and provided the initial impotence to get us moving. Thank you FirstMerit for your additional gift.Impetus, perhaps?!?! OMG, who can I contact to get that embarrassment off of there?

MDZip
I did that thanks, just hoping someone might have quicker access to get it fixed since as it is it is a rather embarrassing remark about our two biggest donors. I did pay attention in my UA English classes.

Zipmeister
Mistake, or cleaver ploy to solicit additional funds from the makers of Viagra? I will keep my ears in their fully erect position listening for more news.
GP1
We’ll call that a MAC-apropismhttp://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/malapropism?view=ukMy wife sent the above. She also rolls here eyes before a game and says, "Are you ready for some MACtion?". When the games become almost unwatchable because of the poor play she calls is "MACtastic". MDZip
Well somebody somewhere stood at full attention because it has been fixed. What a mistake to have in there for a "topping-off" party. Thank you all for all of your "help".
tbozeglav
This is a little irrelevent, but im not going to start a new topic over it...I cannot begin to understand why they did the topping-off ceremony now when the other half of the press tower isnt even completed, let alone that beam they marked as the "highest beam" isnt even the highest one? The beams for the elevator shaft are much higher..The other thing I noticed... the beam the execs were signing seemed awfully white compared to what I saw last Thursday...just some thoughts... zippyrifle32
This one stuck out to me:Mack Rhoades – Remarks About InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field“As we move forward, people continue to ask me as excitement continues to build, how can we get involved? How can we support this process? The answer is very simple: purchase a season ticket. It gets none simpler than that. When we look at bringing football on campus, we need people here. We need people to help celebrate a wonderful event and what better event to have on this campus, than 20-30 thousand people here on Saturdays during the fall to come and experience college football. Not only college football on this campus, but for people to also see the transformation of this campus. If you look at the last 10 years, what has happened here, it’s absolutely phenomenal.I'm no English major, but something about that wording seems a little off to me. It doesn't have to be the final beam of the building. They wanted the dignitaries to have the best whether possilbe on top of it.As for the beam, they probably did paint over parts of it. Ryno aka Menace
I think the Cinci and BG games cost us a bowl, we needed to win one of the two. I think we are gonna look back at the end of the season and say those games were critical to post season play.
