Good Game

I thought that was a good game. Wasn't there but OT. Nice. We out did them in everything except rebounds. They had 50 and we had 32. I hope Bubba gets back on his 3 pointers by Saturday. Should be a great game against Can't.

Us fans were very loud at the end and I think that helped the team. The only negative is that the Zips missed a lot of easy layups in situations where they were not fouled. If they make half of those, they put up 10 more points. Other than that they played well. Great D, lots of hustle. Time to pay back Can't for the only home loss they gave us a few weeeks ago. Go Zips!

Zips are young and make plenty of mistakes like missed bunnies, poor FT and lazy passes, but they find a way to out run, out hustle and out last teams. Lets see what happens Saturday. Go ZIPS!!!

Good game tonite zips.. while I was pulling for miami for obvious reasons, that was a good win and now you guys leapfrogged us in the RPI Oh well, hopefully one way or another the 3 seed will come down to the last game of season here in buffalo, good luck in your next two games

Great defensive game by both teams. DId Romeo really step it up at the end or what ? What a player he has become, He may be unstoppable (versus MAC competition) when he puts his mind to it and as he continues to improve. Size, Strength and Quickness -- Hands are still a little issue --but this guy's got the tools to dominate and carry a team at the end of the game. If they collapse on him, he dishes for the open three -- What a great weapon.

I look at the end of regulation and I say "Damn, why was Collins guarding their 3-point shooter at game's end? Didn't Dambrot learn anything from the Toledo game? 5' 5' guys can't guard the "3" in that situation!"

That's the only thing I could complain about the entire game. That was a great 45 minutes of college basketball. Offensively it was ugly, but that was due to the excellent defense. Until the end of the overtime, was any lead ever greater than 3 or 4 points?

Do the Zips EVER take a defensive possession off? Do they EVER get rattled? Zips play gritty...aggressive...smart. They don't play flushy...out-of-control...selfish. And that is night-in-night-out.

Wonder how Coles is going to replace Horace and Mason next season? They should both be 1st team All MAC.

Bubba had a real tough time trying to guard Chet"the jet"Mason last night. Masons eyes lit up when he saw Bubba on him and he immediatly took Bubba to the rack. The reason Joyce fouled out was trying to slow down Mason.
