I figured that this must mean his was an "out" for the Junior World Championships, and here is the link that confirms it. There are a few familiar names and programs in this link though.USA Football Junior National Team Roster
tim123
Does anybody know what area establishments have the NFL network?
Dr Z
Does anybody know what area establishments have the NFL network?Anybody that has direct tv. Just ask them to tune into channel 212.Or get yourself a Nija Remote and change the channel yourself at any bar. It's much easier than asking your waitress three times and eventually getting it changed a half hour later. MDZip
Didn't get to see the game but Nicely must have done pretty well. Ohio won 38-31 and there was this little tidbit I found on PhillyBurbs.com.And on this night, it was designed for the Ohio offense and the quarterback tandem of Austin Boucher and Patrick Nicely. Combined, they threw for 394 yards and three touchdowns while completing 28 of 38 passes. Still, the scarlet and gray needed a touchdown from a defensive lineman placed into the backfield to pull out the victory.Nicely 10-14-1, 147 yards, 1 TD. gozips19
watched most of the 1st half and Nicely was the best qb on the field. he looks a little bigger too. Boucher reminded me of the former osu qb Bellisari. great athlete but makes bad decisions.
ZachTheZip
Boucher stole the show, but I think a lot of it was his supporting cast and a momentum swing. In these All-Star games your performance is greatly affected by who else happens to be on the field at that time.
zipboy
I would say the Nicely vs Boucher showdowns will be great to see in the MAC for the next few years. But given the unbalanced scheduling, we may not play Miami until 2012.
Zipgrad01
I would say the Nicely vs Boucher showdowns will be great to see in the MAC for the next few years. But given the unbalanced scheduling, we may not play Miami until 2012. Boucher was far and away the superior qb in that game. He moved the offense on every series and he threw a better ball. Nicely was always underthrowing his receivers or throwing behind them. Plus, he threw that horrible pick inside his own 20 in the 4th quarter that caused a huge momentum swing that could have cost the game. Obviously, the coach thought the same thing because he brought in Boucher on the final 2 minute drive to win the game.Granted, it was an All-Star game and I don't put too much faith into them, but Boucher was the man Saturday night. BG also got a STEAL with that Joplin kid from Southview. He was the best receiver on the field.

gozips19
i agree baller. while i only watched the first half nicely looked better. boucher made a few throws that were across the body into coverage. now i may have said different if i'd seen the int nicely threw in the 4th. that being said i look forward to the duels these two will have in the future. That is because you only watched the 1st half. Nicely didnt look so hot in the 2nd half and Bucher was on fire. He was far superior. Read any article on the game.Nicely 10-14 147 yards 1 TD and a huge pick inside his own 20 that almost cost them the game. Nicely also fumbled on a sack and lost the ball to PA.Boucher 18-24 260 yards (Big 33 game record) for 2 TD's (1 a 99 yard game record) and no turnovers. They also put him in on the final drive where he had a 50 yard scramble to get Ohio inside the PA 10 yardline.
xu9697
Finally watched this game (DVRd it). First of all, fun game to watch with guys going to many schools that I am interested in watching/following.Nicely looks like the real deal. Yeah, he struggled at times and some of the questions about his game (underthrowing guys, some ugly passes, etc.) were there. But he has very good size, looks solidly athletic and threw a couple of darts. Give Walt Harris a couple of years with this kid and I think we will like what we see.Boucher= probably b/c of a lefty, wearing #8 and pretty darn athletic he looked like Bellisari. He definitely has talent as well.
