bUAkronG
Well before I post any of these pics I must first say that the first two pics were taken on the construction site and thus are not a reflection of Zipsnation.org or its staff. We here at ZNO do not condone trespassing in any way, shape or form, even to get some sweet candids ;)Okay, disclaimer out of the way, here are some new pics from tonight. Say hello to your new scoreboard fellas!!:Let's hope that light on the 'p' of the 'Zips' gets fixed before September 12th... from the trackProbably as close as we are all going to get to the club levels. Taken at 250mm:Club/Suite Levels at 70mmfrom the steps of Buchtel Hall. Here you can see how bright the scoreboard really is.Enjoy guys. It was a lot of fun to put my cam to use for these. tbozeglav
lets just hope someone happens to be around when they test the lights out so we can end the debate on whether the light system is adequate enough... lol
72 Roo
Thanks Betch. Those are some cool and dramatic pics. I love the players reaction to seeing the stadium each day at practice as voiced by Adam Steiner. To paraphase: It's awesome and a thrill even w/o people in the stands. For those of us living outsode NE Ohio we love these updates. You and the other picture takers have been very kind to those of us thristing for Info news. That leads me to another idea. i live in Columbus and have wanted to get some of the ZN faithful together to talk Zips and have a few cold ones. If anyone on this thread is interested, drop me a line. Who knows, maybe we'll invite Zipwatcher, Catptain Kangaroo and Dr. Z to be our first guests. As long as they bring Roo Brew, of course. Let me also be clear that I was thinking primarily of Nation members who live in Columbus. Kind of a local chapter of ZN.

BostonZip
Speaking of lights, does anyone know if additional lights will be added above the west tower? It looks like there is room for another bank on each of the structures. I seem to recall seeing a post a short while back saying the lights were "almost done" but I can't seem to find it. You can bet I will be out there to photograph them for everyone if they are lit
