Zeke and the team were hanging out at the football game where they were honored as mac champs. They looked like areal team staying together And enjoying the game. Also zeke is every inch of 6'11"
According to the scouts, "he's a legit 7 feet".And as I recall Gamechanger posting, he's up to about 230?

I would need a ladder to get an accurate measurement. He does look pretty solid. Keep up the good work packing on those pounds!

True story. So we're on the way to the Info last night .. my buddy, his wife .. and the boy. Now on the way in the car, the boy had been asking when we were going to go to "Zippy's Basketball House again .. because soon I will be 5 and when I am 5 .. Zeke will be playing for the Zips!!" .. the boy accompanied me to some AAU tournaments 2 years ago where we randomly happened to see a really tall player from the Pittsburgh area play some ball ;) .. and while there, the boy had some fun running around with said player's younger sister. So my buddy and I laugh .. tell him that hoops is about a month away and that we're going to Zippy's new football house to see football. Boy's not impressed apparently, and asks another question .. " but will Zeke be at the football house?" ... I don't know son.So wouldn't you know it, we get in the stadium, head to our seats, and on the way .. we run into Daryl, Brett McKnight, Nik and Zeke. The boy is pumped .. even if a bit shy .. and I start chatting it up with the guys. They complement me on my 2009 MAC Champs lid that I had on .. and I ask how things are going. Everyone seems really pumped for the season and ready to get back at it.Meanwhile the boy has now started to give Zeke a high five .. 34 inches or so off the ground, to which the big fella says "that's a low 5." The boy tries jumping .. is having a great time getting to 40 inches or so. So then Nik comes over, lifts the kid up in the air, and tries to help, and the boy's hand is now hitting Zeke's elbow (his arms stretched out). Eventually I think Nik got him high enough to reach.Made my kids weekend. Before kickoff. Great ambassadors .. all of them really outgoing with the fans .. and fanatics .. and in giving my guy a few minutes of attention, really made his day. It's SO easy to root for these guys I can't describe it. Great to see them out and about Saturday.Getting in the car, the boy says to us: "That was really fun .. today I got to see 2 people I really love: Zippy AND Zeke!"I really can't make this stuff up ...Representing the Zips and UA in a way we can be proud of is an undervalued strength of KD and his teams, IMHO.Thanks guys! .. and good luck this week as you get back to full time action with the whole team. Pretty much the entire team comes to every football game and a bunch of them come to the soccer games to. I think its great they all support the other sports...you don't see any football players at the soccer game.

Yep, I love this team - I don't know that I have ever looked forward to the Zips basketball season quite so much. This is a class group of individuals (which is why it seems like Zeke fits in so well), KD has really put something together to be proud of. And they have their tent up every week when there is a home football game, they always show up at the games. Stop in and say hi, they are a very welcoming group. Can't wait for this season to get started.

Great story ZW. I love this team!Last March in Portland, they were so excited to be there and they've always been approachable. I love Nik's attitude...he always seems so pumped up and always comes across as truly enjoying being around his teammates and the fans. Grinning from ear to ear, signing autographs for Zips' and other teams' fans in Portland. Loved watching his and others' reaction when they were standing in the Info club seats during the pre-game showing of the highlights video from last year. I could see they're pumped for the season to beign. Looking forward to "Meet the Team" next Saturday and the beginning of basketball season.

It looks as if there were multiple teams on the field at the same time. At other schools, they use these moments as a marketing tool.Take the teams out individually during a timeout. Introduce them, what they did last season and when their season starts. Do this for every team that sells tickets to games so people will know when and where they play....and where to buy tickets.

It was an honors ceremony for our Winter and Spring MAC Championship teams. It included the Men's Basketball team, the Men's Track and Field program, the Women's Track and Field program and I think there was one other one in there. I forget a lot of it though. I've tried to block out most of my memories from that night.

It's great they do this; however, there are better ways to do it that will help people remember what they see. Most of us forget most of what we see. By doing them individually, it can help focus the mind of the observer. Very simple....What did they do? Who from that team is still around? Where can a person go watch them try to do it again and how do they go about getting into the arena? They should do this for all sports and not just the teams that win championships because it reminds people of the size and importance of the Athletic Department. Keeping it simple is important. It also helps fill up time during media time-outs. Don't do this during halftime because people are not in their seats to watch. They are forced to watch during TV timeouts.
