NCAA second round vs. South Florida

Recommended Posts

Finally, the real season begins!South Florida and their fans are perfect examples of BCS entitlement syndrome. They need to get knocked down a few pegs.I'm hoping for something on the order of a 5-0 Zips victory and complete domination for 90 minutes. The first match up on our revenge tour should be a good one.

Waiter, I'll have what they are smoking.Go Zips ... !!!!
Me too, but only if it's strong enough to induce enough stupidity so that I actually believe the zips won't get the number 1 seed in the NCAA's.
Hell- Im ok with a 1-0 win!!! But seriously- does anyone know what ticket status is? will tix be available a gate?? Is it near sellout?

Can't wait to see what the Rowdies cook up for this one. :)
We will try our best; however, NCAA told UAPD that if we use anything that is a slur, or mention any names(teams included)(which we've done all year), they can kick us out...for good....supposedly. Talk about fair...

Hope the Zips come out VERY READY!! If you look at S. Fla schedule, they have given up very few goals. And the Big East is a good soccer conference.
HEY! I don't even know what time this game is -- but can someone PLEASE help me out with a Gametracker link??? Please.

Shots 4-1 for da Roos at the 14 minute mark. But none of what you require to win -- GOALS! Prediction: Nagbe scores before the half, assisted by Blair Gavin.

In other 2nd round games, Tulsa was forced to OT by a 90th minute goal by St Louis, but the Golden Canes pulled it out with a golden goal 7 minutes into the OT period.Virginia looks really hot at this point -- beating Bucknell 5-0, Will Bates and Tony Tchani each scoring a pair for the Cavaliers. My darkhorse team, Harvard defeated Monmouth 3-0 in Cambridge today.

20 minutes played in the second half. No goals but shots are 4-0 for Akron this half. Continued domination. Looks like they're putting it together in the post-season. Even nearly keeping up with USF in fouls 9-10. Zach can tell us later how Dir-Tee the opposition has been! :nutkick: Meanwhile, we're starting the march to :NCAAC:

Great win by the Zippers today. They looked much better and more focused than they had been the past few weeks. Maybe being bogged down in MAC play was getting to them. One point of concern... Nanchoff went down midway through the first half and did not return. Any status update that anyone is aware of?

From where I was standing, it didn't look good. He had to be carried off the field. I'm afraid he may have a broken shinbone just below the knee, but I hope I'm very wrong.

They said he had ice on his hamstring. Hopefully just a pulled hammy.
