Zipmeister
I heard that this year Akron may have set a Division I record for fewest pass attempts to a tight end in a season. Can anyone confirm that we are in the record book for this?

Can anyone confirm that we are in the record book for this?Yes, I CAN spell facetious. But for the record, teams like Texas Tech and Hawai'i don't have a tight end on their rosters. GO ZIPS!!! I know a little bit about the game therefore I shall say nothing and never wear a BuckEye shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GP1
I heard that this year Akron may have set a Division I record for fewest pass attempts to a tight end in a season.I think we need to worry more about the number of TD passes we did not complete to our WRs before we worry about the most overrated receiver position in football (it is an important position, it's importance is overrated though). WRs get TDs, TEs get first downs. Give me big plays to WRs all day over dinking and dunking to the TE.

You have shown that every time you post here. You seem to know very little in my opinion. For those of us on ZN who you feel "have little knowledge of football," let me tell you my qualifications. My father was a head coach while I grew up, and I was helping grade films by the time I was 8. I played D-1 college football, blew out my knee and became a student, then Graduate assistant coach. I went into private business, but continued to help at the local high school. In this time I learned more than a little football. So please don't throw blanket accusations out there!
