ZachTheZip
Gulley to Syracuse, Hoobler to Indiana, etc.If only the Zips had a coach that could beat these low level teams we might be winning recruits from them instead of the other way around. Holy hell...we'd NEVER lose a recruit!!Man, you're on a roll this week.
GP1
Gulley was never interested in the Zips. These kids who come from Akron want to go else where for college. If he wasn't interested, I'm not interested. In a lot of ways, I don't blame a kid from Garfield going away to college. A lot of us went away from college and I'm sure most of us are glad we did. I don't think a young person can fully mature if they don't leave their home after high school and go see the world a little. As far as football, if this kid is good enought compete in the Big East, more power to him. It is a BCS conference and the competition is better than the MAC. There are plenty of kids out there who would make us competitive in the MAC.
