akronzips71
Zeke Marshall comes of age!I LOVE his more aggressive style of play. Great blocks, kept the zips in the game with his buckets. He's gonna be good in the next 3 years.Overall sloppy game, but DAMN EXCITING
vmd9
Zeke Marshall comes of age!I LOVE his more aggressive style of play. Great blocks, kept the zips in the game with his buckets. He's gonna be good in the next 3 years.Overall sloppy game, but DAMN EXCITINGThis is why he deserves more playing time. I guarantee if the McKnights and Nik weren't in foul trouble Zeke would have barely played in this game. It's sad but true, he is the most talented player we have and deserves to play! this game proves my point, we he plays he comes up big...please give him a chance KD
Quickzips
Easy there big fella's. Zeke had a great game there, but he still has plenty of flaws. He kept himself out of foul trouble tonight (funny how he kept himself out of foul trouble for once, but nobody else could). Until he learns to consistently cut back on the silly fouls I'm afraid these kinds of games from him are going to be sporadic.

bandzip
This is the first time that Zeke has stepped on the floor with a fire in his eyes. From behind the basket you could tell he was on his game, instead of his usual casual look while he's playing he played with intensity and it was something to watch. Let's not forget his block at the end of regulation that saved the game for us. Good job big guy!
w00t
13 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 to and 1 foul..enough said!!!...and 35 minutes! Good to see the big guy on the floor for an extended period of time, and it was apparent from his attitude that there was nowhere else he wanted to be. Even observing him on the bench you could tell that he was impatiently waiting to get back in the game. He couldn't have picked a better game to turn in his best performance of the season so far, let's hope it instills the confidence in him to dominate the rest of the weekend. If Conyers locks down Kool and Zeke controls the paint and we win by double digits tomorrow!
Dave in Green
Zeke really looked like a complete player tonight. He's not yet a dominant force, but he's getting there.
tbozeglav
Zeke really looked like a complete player tonight. He's not yet a dominant force, but he's getting there.very much so. He had the composure of a veteran. I too agree he needs a little more confidence and some more work overall, but he's very close to being a consistent inside presence. He will certainly do us very well for another 3 years. I will say, he needs work on his free throws. I saw him miss too many shots late in the game that would have helped put the game in our favor. While I am nitpicking, its something he should work on. Hey may not have the outside shot like the real thing, but he's definitely becoming our version of the Cav's legend "Z"

He's clearly had plenty of those this year. I can think of at least two from last Friday alone. I can handle him picking up a foul or two going for a block around the rim. Fouls 15 feet from the basket when his guy has barely even started his move to the basket, those are "silly" fouls. He's a freshman, so he gets a certain amount of a pass, and I will give him credit for avoiding those yesterday when nobody else on the team seemed to be able to avoid getting Borowskied (hey look, I invented a new word), but I want to see those kinds of games more often before we go anointing him as "arrived". jeaglet1
Zeke played the best game I've seen him play. It helped that he seemed to get the ball more. I enjoy watching q big man who can block shots like that
Dr Z
Great game Zeke! It's going to be scary when he gets comfortable in the offense.
Valpo Zip
The title of this thread should be modified to "Zeke's best game, so far" because i have a feeling that he will beat that performance tonight and that beat tonight's performance tomorrow. He's a big game guy, isn't he?
Captain Kangaroo
Zeke's block at the end of regulation was just as big as McNees' shot.
