Zipsrifle
It was a hard fought game all around, and OU held the lead most of the way. Lets give credit where credit is due. Congratulations.Akron lets get to the same point next season.

Zipsrifle
Another point, OU took down Akron, Can't, and their rival Miami. Toughest 3 games any team in the MAC would have to face. Do us proud in the NCAA.
GJGood
Definitely a great game, just came up short. This is sure one heck of a rivalry with Ohio. Are there any two teams that play more consistently even games meeting after meeting in the country? It seems like every game we play against them comes down to the last 30 seconds or overtime or double overtime or a few years back quadruple overtime. Fortunately, we've won most of those games. Unfortunately we lost the most important one.Congrats to Ohio, they earned the title for sure when you realize who they had to go through and even had to play a road game in the first round.OK, so where do we go from here? Blue & Gold
Great game. Congrats to OU. They played a very good game. These were three of the most exciting games I've seen in a long time. Thank you, Zips, for the hard work & for all the excitement!
RowdyZip
Great game, very exciting to watch even from Daytona. OU deserved to win a very evenly matched game. Although I jusy wish we'd STOP THE F*CKING BALL ON FAST BREAKS, I'll be rooting OU this weekend
Let'sGoZips94
I hate O-Who. Absolutely hate 'em, but they deserved this one. We couldn't take advantage of their mistakes, which hosed us. Oh well, I will NOT be rooting for them, but congrats to them. DJ Cooper and Armon Basset are amazing guards.

Dave in Green
OU earned this win the hard way by outplaying a Zips team that played their hearts out and came up just short. I hope the Bobcats represent the MAC well in what will certainly be a tough matchup against a high seed.

johnnyzip84
Let me be another to congratulate OU, no matter how tough a loss that was to take. Like others have said, our two seniors came up big tonight when we needed them the most. Steve pulls another rabbit out of the hat, but alas there were simply none left at the buzzer for UA. Also the poor guy had to have been completely spent playing so many minutes like he did. Not having Humpty for most of the 2nd half hurt the cause. Losses are never welcome, but if you've left it all out there (and I think the Zips did), I don't have any arguments. Some of the calls were a little rough, but I can't honestly say I felt like the game was taken away by the refs. OU simply made plays when they needed to make them, especially from the line. And let's be honest. Most of us wanted no part of playing them in the tournament. At least the eventual confrontation occurred in the championship (K.E.N.T. say that about someone else).Thank you, KD and staff and all of the team for another wild March ride. I can get used to these. You have done us all very proud.Go Bobcats in the NCAAs. I hate to admit it, but you guys are probably a little better equipped for pulling off the 1st round upset than UA is anyway. Let's put an end to the MAC one and done streak. w00t
Excellent game, no margin (besides the final score) greater than five points from start to finish. I don't know that I've ever seen a game that closely contested all the way through.Hats off to Ohio, they made their way through three tough teams in three days. Cooper and Bassett make one helluva backcourt, and both played every minute of the game tonight. It's always disappointing to lose on the big stage, but no one can question the effort that UA put in tonight. Many thanks to Chris, Jimmy, and Tim for a great four years... all four of which saw them play in conference title games. The future still looks bright to me, and if I had to guess I would say these two teams will meet again a year from now. ...oh, and at least it wasn't Ken+.
