I don't think they'd take him, but those other two sound pretty interesting. I think they could be competitive in the West by 11-12, if they get the right guy -- and either Hunter and Kowalczyk could produce for the Rockets. Hell, maybe Dan could too...but I doubt it. Wonder if Coleman Crawford's name is in the mix anywhere.

Larry Hunter is a very good basketball coach. He would turn around the rockets. Frankly, Toledo should be a league power every year.

All Toledo needs is a slightly-better-than-mediocre coach and they could dominate the West every year.

Toledo needs to get their house in order so that they can join the Zips in a migration to a better conference when the Big TelEveN blows things up in the fall. I think a UA v UT rivalry could be a good pairing to go together to new conference digs. UT's shown good commitment as an institution to upgrading facilities. They need some stabilizing coaches. Hunter or Hipsher could be that.

I've never heard of Dan Hipsher referred to as a stabilizing force. Interesting.
