It's interesting that she calls Toledo the biggest disappointment last year. No one expected them to be a contender but a few outliers. I think they were exactly as expected, worth a win here and there, but not up to winning consistently. On the other hand, I was really expecting K-ent State to win it all. Cough, cough.

The one thing that Ken+ has going for them, is Spencer Keith, I was impressed with the freshman at the one game (Akron) that I saw him. It would not shock me if they did well in the MAC. I hope our secondary is ready for him this year.

As for Akron, I'll stick with my prediction that I posted in the Expectations thread.

K.e.n.t. is always the trendy pick. Look for Phil Steele to pick K.e.n.t. to win the MAC East again...for the umpteenth consecutive year. And...be wrong again.

K.e.n.t. Football is a blend of poor talent & choke artists who are guided by a clown coach. I will go out on a limb and say: They suck in 2010.

Spencer Keith is a very good QB. So was Josh Cribbs...so was Jose Davis...so was Julie Anne Edelmann...so what? Their teams all sucked.
