Bleacher Bum
A friend of mine recently had a baby and he brought me an "It's a Girl" Macanudo that I smoked in the parking lot. That's the only positive I've got from the whole day. Oh, and the soccer team doesn't suck. That's a positive.

An asteroid didn't land in Akron. Godzilla didn't attack. Come on now, there were lots of positives today.

We havent got crap for recruits, the current team is terrible, there is very little young talent. I wonder how many kids leave the program after this year. I know I will not be renewing my tickets, not when I can get them for free and sit in a comparable seat. I will be looking into soccer tickets however. I just wish the mens bball team would actually schedule somebody, that may lure me in one day if they ever play a decent schedule.
Zipgrad1990
Out punter looked good and with all the practice he gets, maybe he will make the NFL someday! I would have left before half-time if it weren't for the band. The band seems to be putting in extra effort to keep the fans into it, too bad they are the only product worth watching! I honestly feel the worst for the band. Id go to the games just to see their halftime shows, but I don't want to see this thing called "football" that iCoach is attempting to produce. Dr Z
Richard Hall can catch the ball when he is sent into a route and the QB has more than 2.75 seconds to get him the ball. That is the only one I walked out of the stadium with...serious.
skip-zip
PN actually completed half of his passes The STO sideline reporter. It didn't rain during the tailgating, which is now the highlight of my home football game experiences.

Fans who pay to go to every game have a right to complain about the product on the field. That includes coaches.
ZipGrad93
You know, I'm as frustrated as everyone else around here. I don't post much, but I read regularly. I'm not happy with YouTube Tom's performance, nor am I happy with the iJoke hire. They've collectively done nothing positive for the Zips' football program - absolutely nothing. I watched the game on STO, and it was a comedy of errors. It's unbelievable that the Zips are actually this bad. It's even more unbelievable that the coaches haven't done anything to improve this team, regardless of the "new" system, position switches, and so forth. (On a side note, how can you take a kid with all-MAC talent in the defensive backfield - one of the best athletes on the team - and get so little out of him? Is iJerk too stubborn to admit he has failed by moving Carter to WR? The Zips can't cover anybody, yet our best DB wallows in obscurity for most of each game.) However, I've decided not to give up on this team. You know why? Because in watching the game, I could tell that kids like Wagner, Thomas, Lemon, Allen, Burnley, Pride, and others, really do care. I believe they really are doing the very best they can within the system they've beeen given and in the positions their coaches put them in. In reality, yes, they need to perform better, but they are still kids, and they can only attempt to do what they're directed to do. I couldn't care less about the AD and the coach, but I love the Zips and I will support the atheltic programs as long as there are kids in there working, evidently even for a lost cause like this season, as hard as they can. Even though performance-wise we are the king of suck, I'm still proud of the kids busting their butts for our school, and doing it with class, week-in and week-out. If it's hard for me to watch, I'd bet it's 10x's as hard to be a part of it. So, "Go Zips" players. I've still got your back...

Tailgating is a blast with all the die hard zip fans! Couldn't agree more! CK's chili, with its smoky mesquite flavor and its spicy kick (he could call it mesq-HEAT), was my all-around favorite
