ZachTheZip Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I know everybody's mind is on the Championship game for tomorrow, but the basketball team is also playing. This is one of the "big three" games on the schedule. We've had a very long rest to get prepared, and Temple is coming off a major victory over #10 Georgetown on Friday. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 What a killer schedule they've assembled! To be 4-2 with a schedule like this is impressive. From today's ABJ: "The Owls, who are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference, have a 6-2 record against a rigorous early season schedule. Temple has beaten the likes of Seton Hall (62-56), Georgia (65-58), Maryland (64-61) and Georgetown (68-65). The victory over the ninth-ranked Hoyas came Thursday night. Its losses have been to California (57-50) and Texas A&M (54-51)." Gonna be a tough one today. Go Zips!!! Quote

Quickzips Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I didn't realize at all how tough a schedule Temple has played. They have to be looking at this game in much the same way we look at the cupcakes on our schedule the last few years. This is going to be a big test for the Zips. I know I for one will have the game-tracker on in the background while I'm watching the soccer championship game today. Quote

I just broke down their OOC schedule. 8 games vs. BCS schools- Seton Hall, California, Georgia, Texas A&M, Maryland, Georgetown, Villanova, Duke 5 games vs. MAC schools- Toledo, Central Michigan, Akron, Northern Illinois, Ohio 1 game vs. Pennsylvania (Ivy)- Big 5 Rivalry game which they play every year. That's pretty crazy. I wouldn't blame Temple fans at all if they viewed us as one of the cupcakes on their schedule. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted December 12, 2010 Author Report Posted December 12, 2010 Doesn't look like our style of play at all. Chucking up a bunch of early shots. Quote
Zipgrad1990 Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Things are looking bad for the bball team, but at least I won't need to watch after 4pm. 24-12 Temple Quote

What are att sports? ATT sports are sports that used to be all consumed by one team. They were forced to break up and become a bunch of separate teams. However, that only last a while and then they all come back to being one team again. Quote
