Captain Kangaroo
Per the PD this Morning I couldn't find the column link, but until someone does, trust me.
johnnyzip84
Per the PD this Morning I couldn't find the column link, but until someone does, trust me. Scout indicated a scholarship offer from UA a few days ago. It didn't look like anyone else had offered at the time. It's interesting that this class will apparently have TWO kicker/punters (not that we don't need the help, particularly at kicker).
Dr Z
6'4" 205 lbs A kick to the coffin corner? I didn't even think that was legal now a days.

With Ianello's penchant for field goals, and our stagnant offense, UA is nirvana kickers and punters!
RootforRoo44
There are few things i get more excited for than punting/kicking with the Zips. As bad as our kicking was, our punting was that good last year. It would be nice to have both be good for once, it's so important for a team to do both well (ask Buchtel High School's football team about that). It may be Nirvana, and I-Boy may be desperate, but neither of these guys is ranked in the top 100 kickers. in their class. And they're only #28 and 48 among punters. Do you call these "projects"? Zipmeister
Finally, a wide receiver with decent height.
K92
Highlight reel looks pretty good. Sure would be nice to see kickoffs for touchbacks at the info.

Based on the kickers BG, Western and Northern signed this year. You are likely to get your wish.
gozips19
from the link above Jan- Zach Paul, a K/P from Padua Franciscan High School in OH, has received a Gray shirt Scholarship Offer from The University of Akron. Zach is a talented kicker and punter that can do both at the collegiate level. Zach Has been coming to camps for the last few years and we are very excited for Zach and the Paul Family. so his scholarship will go on next years books. johnnyzip84
Not directly related to Zach Paul, but this Youngstown Vindicator writer reports that Fox's HS coach thinks AJ will be the starting punter (I wonder what Zach Campbell thinks about this) and possible kickoff specialist for the Zips next year. Of course, any HS coach is going to talk "up" his own player. The question remains.....who will handle FGs and extra points? Maybe this is where Zach Paul comes in.
