akronzips71 Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 WHAT AN ENDING GIVE ZEKE THE MVP FOR THAT ENDING Quote
UA Fan Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 So glad he gets to go dancing as only a Soph. He has really persevered thus far. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Rasor has reported that, "Marshall was named MVP." This can't be for the entire MAC Tourney, can it? Though if it's not Marshall, I don't know who it would be, since it really was such a team effort and different players stepped up each and every game. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEKE championship game stat line: 9 points, 13 rebounds & 9 blocks!!! What's he called? Oh, yeah... GAMECHANGER!!! Quote
akronzips71 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 I taped the whole thing on my DVR That last block was the game and the ticket to the dance. Not to know the block by McN at the very last second, but that was a desperation shot that probably would not have been close and was made necessary by the Zeke block.' He was a **@& force. IF he plays like that in the NCAA he might never make it to his senior year. Quote
UA Fan Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Official tournament team: Justin Greene (Can't), Jarrod Jones (BSU), Michael Porrini (Can't), Brett McKnight (Akron), Zeke Marshall (UA, MVP) Quote

Zeke Marshall, Mid-American Conference Tournament MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He deserved it and I called it. If we could win a game or two in the dance, we could set ourselves up for an at large or NIT bid next year. There WILL be interest in Zeke as time goes on. Quote
UA Fan Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Oh wow...instant wallpaper. And I think I detect some biceps on that kid. Quote
akronzips71 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 That is an obvious foul. The League is going to reverse the outcome and give it to Can't.   Quote

akronzips71 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 BTW, did #3 get called for smacking Zeke in the face on that play? Quote
jem101 Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 BTW, did #3 get called for smacking Zeke in the face on that play? I know Zeke got an "And1" on one of his dunks. Not 100% sure if it was that dunk though... Quote
akronzips71 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 So let me get this straight: We get ONE player on the ALL MAC SECOND team. Zeke does not even make honorable mention. Then he gets TOURNAMENT MVP. Who makes these selections, the Can't coaching staff? Quote
zippy5 Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Dear momma zeke, thanks for making zeke. Quote
