MontrealExposloveZippy
Tonight, my friend and I were reminiscing about a UA football game we went to last year and we're laughing hysterically recalling a play in where Nicely was getting sacked in our own endzone and when he was parallel with the ground he decided to throw the ball (perhaps to the MAC football gods) and was easily intercepted for a touchdown. It TRULY was the stupidest, funniest, most unfathomable play ever. This guy couldn't start for a D-6 JV squad. Did anyone see this extraordinarily nicely play? If you did, do you remember who we were playing?

K92
Western Michigan, I believe.
GoZips
Having avoided watching the sorry arsed Zips most of last season I missed this play. I did, however, witness the incredibly stupid fourth down punt from the end zone where the line lined up in that high school offset shift. The defenders (Ohio U I think) ran straight to the exposed punter; blocked the punt for a touchdown. A kid under pressure makes mistakes, hell, look at Roethlisberger. He is a grown man and is stupid as they come. I suppose the coaching staff that you all love gets a pass on the incredible punt play. skip-zip
I'm almost certain that particular play you mentiioned was against Western Michigan. Band Zip is right, there were others. I'm not sure if I would put this Western Michigan play, or the Ken+ play in the end zone at the top of the list.

Captain Kangaroo
Seriously...why rip on our QB about a play that happened 7 months ago? Are you a K.e.n.t. fan? I didn't find anything "hilarious" about that play, or the season. No Zips fan would.
K92
Once again CK is right. There isn't anything funny about it. If I'm not badly mistaken, I think there was a discussion about rehashing bad memories on the basketball board right before the tournament. akron football
I highly recommend to all true football and zip fans to support PN7 he is and will be your starting QB. If anyone out there thinks otherwise you just don't have a clue. Patrick has done everything he's been asked to, it's not his fault that the players around him have not. I've watched way to many dropped passes missed blocking assignments wrong routes run and for anyone from Montreal or Missippi to start a post about a play that happened in a game where he was sacked seven times and was trying to make a play is not a true Zip fan. I support him 100% and this year you'll see, nobody works harder than PN7. Go Zips and go PN7!
ZachTheZip
Not hilarious. Nauseating. But so were almost all the plays we ran last season.

Kind of reminds me of how so many (including supposed Zips fans) dumped on Charley Frye. Charley was the reason the Browns sucked. If only they get rid of Charley how the Browns will blososm. Why, Quinny Bradey is the answer. He is the most wonderful quarterback ever. Really? Charley Frye is still playing in the NFL and Quinn? Well, check the used car lot at the corner of Madison and Exchange in downtown Denver and meet their new lot boy. You fools.

I mean you gotta have some sense of humor to get through a 1-11 season!

akron football
Hey wiseguy did you remember the win against Can't in his true freshmen year to win the wagon wheel just two days following his beloved grandfathers funeral. I think they were winning almost all there games going into the fourth quarter only to lose, theres more to football than stats. Div 6 JV huh! Captain Kangaroo
I think most older Browns fans think "the fumble" was a hilarious play. And they probably still yuk it up when they talk about "the drive." Funny, funny stuff. Likewise, what Zips fan can't find the hilarious side to losing to K.e.n.t.? Me. akron football
When you where reminising on a game you physically watched with your buddy you could not remember the game. I mean come on it was the most hillarious play and by the way it was against our nemisis. You are not a true zip fan pal. Go PN7!

Dave in Green
Amen. I've thought so little about last season that I'm actually beginning to look forward to this season. I like that thinking. The best thing about last season is that it ended and could be quickly put out of mind, at least for those who chose not to dwell on it. College football can be a lot of fun as long as you're not mired in a long losing streak. So far the Zips record for the 2011-12 season is 0-0, so things are looking good.
