Blue & Gold
He's not listed on the men's coaching staff page @ GoZips.com. And knowing GoZips.com there's no way they've updated it already. GoZips.com

Where in the article does it say Pittis was a bball assistant?
Hilltopper
If you look in the 2010/2011 media guide on Gozips.com under coaching and support staff you will find a photo. Cole Pittis
Dave in Green
From what I found, Pittis was hired for the 2007-8 season an assistant coach at Mt. Union responsible for coaching the junior varsity team. A year later he was hired by UA as graduate assistant for video services responsible for coordination of the program's video analysis for the 2008-9 season. Can't find anything on exactly what he's been doing the last two seasons, other than he doesn't show up in the formal list of assistant coaches. His photo shows up among the graduate assistants. At first I was pretty sure that the departure of Mr Pittis was just one more sign that the KD empire at Akron is crumbling, but it turns out that it's University policy that if we have someone on the basketball staff for three years and can't come up with a title for that person's position then they must leave. Best of luck to Cole. Make us proud.
