K92
It has been about a week since the list came out and no chatter. Is it not as big a deal as I think? When you go down through the list there are some awfully good players that Brian is included with. I think it is a fantastic honor. For all those who are taking the wait and see approach before deciding to attend this year, may I suggest: It is definitely worth the cost of admission, travel, time, food and drink to come to home games. If for nothing else, just to watch #34 play. Take a nap while the offense is on the field if you feel you must, but Brian Wagner is a player who doesn't come along that often. He doesn't take plays off. He is the quintessential hustler. He is our shining star and it is a great pleasure to watch him. Hopefully, the team surrounding him will be better this year because the kid deserves to be a winner.
Dr Z
I think I'm going to buy Wagner's jersey this year and show my Akron pride....oh yeah, I can't. I can get a Nick Rossi jersey though. Anybody have a R-O-S-S-I iron-on for me?Article about the naming
ZIPFB#1
I have wrote the equipment manager trying to get team jerseys ordered with name and number of 34. If I can't get them from the school, I will be ordering them from a sport store here in my home town. I will try to get them to look like the teams. If anyone is interested , please let me know. It is an offensive line jersey and it is skin tight and doesn't really have sleeves. A fit young person could get away with wearing it, but a fat 42 year old looks absolutely ridiculous. It looks like I am wearing a sleeveless sausage casing with puffy shoulders. Not pretty.

I'm sure it wasn't me, seeing that I admitted Tressel needed to go and admiited issues. Or, knowing how you are, maybe you think it was me. Perhaps I should go back and read what I am sure are more attacks against me, while not proving anything I said as wrong. Nah, why bother to read a bunch of comments from hypocrites and haters. Haters are gunna hate.Oh crap, I just threw more bait in the water. Time for more guppies to come to feast...LOL

K92
Thank you JZ84! Called today and ordered my jersey. Ashley from AFC told me they are really close to the authentic jersey. She said the only real difference is there are not logos on the sleeves because they looked "obnoxious" because they are too big. Don't know. That's what she told me. She also said, no guarantees, but they are aiming to get the jerseys in by the Temple game. Soooooo, if anybody wants to get in on this deal, you need to call Ashley as soon as possible. Dr Z
Thanks JZ that's great for the hardcore fans. Why does the U make it so hard on us? How the F, can't that store at the Info order 10 Wagner jerseys from those guys? I bet they sell. Maybe they can make my Lot Niners™ Tees? They are the replica jerseys, so they are cut for the football pads. (larger top than bottom). They have all sizes , same as tshirt sizes. When I initially talked with Ashley , we set a deadline for this weekend so that we can get them before the first home game. But I am sure, they will take orders anytime. ZachTheZip
Maybe they can make my Lot Niners™ Tees? If you're looking to order custom Tees, you should contact former Zips bball player Nick Goddard. He recently got into the teeshirt selling business (yes, I'm being serious).
