o-line quit

When PN7 came in the o-line packed it in, they let him get sacked three times. But then again he's probably become used to getting sacked. Moore does not even know the offense well enough to keep him under center. they put him in the shotgun because he's more comfortable. Moore probably high fived Ianello's son and told some jokes to his teammates to make everything OK after the great performance. Just run around and chuck it up that's what we'll see all year . What a joke of a QB. But he can dance on the floor in the locker room. The O-line and the receivers are at best mediocre. The defense shows promise actually. Let's see against the play calling will be Chisolm up the middle and a couple boundary passes. Because that's all the plays he probably knows. Remember he came from that scary Mississippi junior college. Here we go Temple...

Zach, you do understand that people don't always get along all the time, right? And you do understand that there is always more than one side to the story, right?

You are going to be seeing this throughout your life in a variety of situations. Wait until you have your first encounter with a divorce between a man and a woman who you both know. He will say one thing, she will say another, and you won't know which one to believe. Or maybe you will think you do. Maybe you'll pick a side and say one was right and one was wrong. Maybe you'll be right and maybe you'll be wrong. Maybe you'll spread the latest gossip about that on an internet forum. Or maybe you'll grow up and be a responsible adult.

The O-linemen hold some animosity towards Nicely. The Zips locker room situation is currently not stable. That's all the info I'll give out here.

why did Nicely actually show leadership in calling out the lackluster play of the o-line and hurt some feelings. Maybe Moore can tell them how good they are and dance and tell jokes.

Well if the second team line called it in (highly doubt) then that is news to me. What I saw was inexperienced lineman getting blitzed and not expecting it.

I'd have to watch the game again to be certain, but without double-checking, I think this is what happened. I think the coaching staff threw in the proverbial white towel & put in some subs - Nicely & some OL - but Columbus kept the same heat on as they had with our starters.

I think Columbus was bigger, faster, more talented. They also executed plays better on Saturday.

I think I CALLED it earlier in the week when I said The Lone Ranger would need his horse to see OVER the line. HOW MANY balls were batted down? How many balls were thrown over , or infront of receivers? Then PN7 comes in during the 4th and it looks like our O LINE had already gone for the day. Nicely delivers a well throw ball to his receiver and it hits him in the hands and goes right through.... Probably wasnt use to having the ball in the RIGTH PLACE. And to think this was OSU with a new coach and many new starters and they took us apart. I had heard we had interviewed the Ohio State Coach for our HC Job but passed on him for Coach I...Is it TO LATE to SWAP....I wont even start about the defense. Hope they give PN the start this week so we can at least have a chance with Temple. I saw a few bright spots on offense, but it WASNT our great new juco QB the Lone Ranger

This is a myth about height. Drew Brees is short. Colt McCoy is short. There are a lot of short QB's.

Many o-lineman are in the 6-5 6-6 range. There aren't many QB's that tall.

QB's are throwing through lanes more so than throwing over lineman. Balls are batted down for a number of reasons. The QB's release point. The o-lineman not being engaged, a great defenseive play, etc.

Im not saying height doesn't matter, but it is not the biggest factor.

This was the guys first game as a starter and it was against a faster, bigger team on the road. I think he deserves a little break. JMHO.
