I'm bringing a group of middle school students to Saturday's game & can't find the price of a single-game youth ticket on GoZips.com.I'm hoping (though I perused the site for about 10 minutes) that I was simply overlooking an obvious link. However, knowing UA athletics... Does anyone know the pricing?[Edit]: Found it! :)

Bless you my son for allowing those middle school students to witness some of the worst football on the face of this planet. I can see the look on their faces now...and think of all the memories this game will produce for the kids to take with them forever.

I know. I know. I had actually cancelled the trip & was planning on flying solo (I even mentioned me scratching this outing in another thread). But the kids were disappointed and really wanted to go, so we're gonna go. I'm afraid of an empty stadium, negativity from the few die hards who are there, and a loss to a IAA, not to mention the 40% chance of rain.

I would take time before the game to try to explain to the kids that the Zips football team is at a low point, but that they're not giving up. They're determined to keep trying as hard as they can even though they have been losing. I'd tell the kids that the stadium is not crowded because many fans have given up on the Zips, but the Zips haven't given up on themselves. I'd try to turn it into a life lesson for the kids that no matter how bad things may seem, you should never give up trying to improve.

DiG, BRILLIANT! Thanks for the inspiration. Seriously, I'm going to take this angle.

So that's what a College Game Day Saturday in Akron has become -- A Life's Lesson on Coping with Embarrassment and Loss49-0 at the half? :( C'mon kids...turn that frown upside down! :)

I'd like to ask anyone who is a lawyer....Is this a form of child abuse?Seriously, it should be a fun time for the kids. Perfect game to take them to as the Zips will win.

I am impressed that you take the time to influence young kids. How many kids will you be taking to the game??
