Zipmeister Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Just remember, if you go to watch the Trotters play and Quake comes rushing at you with a bucket full of "water," the bucket is probably just filled with paper confetti.....probably. Quote
GP1 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 I love the Trotters and I'm glad a Zip is one of them. They make a lot of people happy. That is a good thing. Quote
Dr Z Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 I never realize how many people were Globetrotters until I played softball with an ex-trotter and looked it up. Quote

ZachTheZip Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 There was a feature yesterday in the ABJ about "Quake". Sounds like he's enjoying it. How could you not? Quote
Class of 82 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 I never realize how many people were Globetrotters until I played softball with an ex-trotter and looked it up. The most unlikely name on that list has to be Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson, who a lot of people don't know was a truly great college BB player for Creighton University in the mid-50s. It's one of the great trivia answers of all time. Gibson has to be the only Hall of Fame baseball player who also played professional basketball. (I bet going to the Trotters for a year was probably a way to get a better signing bonus from the Cardinals.) Quote
MDZip Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Saw Quade play at the Baltimore Arena yesterday. He looked like he was having a ball doing it. Happy for him, here are a couple of pictures of him there. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Just returned to Hawaii, and found the Globetrotters are in town this weekend. I want to see Qua(d)ke, but the website shows something like 29 players on the roster. Is there any way to find out if Milum is going to be on this particular tour? edit: Found an email form for the team and phone#. Will let you know what I found out. Hope I get to see him. How'bout help out the Z.I.P. with some ducats, Quake, Baby! Quote
