dboze
I saw Zeke Marshall on campus yesterday and he was walking with a limp. I am very concerned We talked to Zeke last night and he was fine. Just cramped from sitting on the plane.

ZachTheZip
Even if he is at 100%, I have a feeling that tomorrow will be used to get Egner some developmental time at Center.
Dave in Green
This thread is very poorly timed. This is the kind of thread you want to post the week of the West Virginia game when WVU is monitoring these boards, and have everyone on message that it's really questionable whether Zeke will be able to play against the Mountaineers. You are a student. You can say you saw him using a crutch and limping. "Not serious but will miss a few gamse". We need to get everybody involved for the "great deception". They should not be on our board anyway

GoZips
Cute. Saw Zeke working on his short hook shots after practice. Looks like he has two broken legs and one thumb was in a cast. He will be just fine if .... Dambrot does not kill the entire squad this coming week as KD expects that both Valpo and the Dukes will be gunning for us and our kids are suffering from swelled heads after stomping a weak, lazy, unmotivated Mississippi State. Again the question arises: defense? what defense? we sucked on defense
Captain Kangaroo
Again the question arises: defense? what defense? we sucked on defense Zeke had a game-changing defensive performance. And despite his 1-10 from the field, I though McClanahan played one of his better defensive games. Abreu was excellent defensively, after a shaky first 10 minutes. Not a textbook defensive performance, but I've seen a lot worse.
skip-zip
I'm satisfied with calling this game a "good defensive performance" when we held an SEC school to 58 points on their own home floor.
Dave in Green
A bad offense can make a defense look good and a good defense can make an offense look bad. As a team, I thought the Zips played fairly good defense and, as a team, I thought MSU played only fair offense. The combination of the two left the Zips in control of the whole game. But I think the Zips will have to play even better defense to have a chance against WVU. The Zips offense looks to me to be ahead of the defense. Our players all seem to like to keep the ball moving to create open shots, and it looks like we have a lot of guys who can score from close in and mid-range. If they start hitting their 3s, they're going to be really tough to defend. They will need to be good at both ends of the court to beat some of the teams coming up on the schedule. hafner4430
This thread was just a joke to see what everyones reaction would be. Some good came out of it though as we now have a great idea to throw off WVU!!!
Dave in Green
I don't think a poll needs to be conducted to count the number of people who found this "joke" to be funny.

The one thing that bothered me was we kept picking up our dribble and causing high risk passes. that should be easy to correct.
Doug Snyder
And despite his 1-10 from the field, I though McClanahan played one of his better defensive games. I was surprised to see a negative comment after the game about McClanahan's play. I looked up his stats and sure enough...he was 1-10. But there was only one shot I think he should not have taken...all others were shots he should take. But my impression during the game was he was having a great game. Hi defense was stellar and every loose ball had a #5 fighting for it. He made a great save of a ball going out of bounds and almost an incredible steal and save of a sideline pass where he lofted the ball down court. So...I agree with you nitro had a good game but he will have to make those shots in the future if we are going to be an elite team.
